Absolutely! Notify Sideshow abt the chip on the chin and they'll issue you out a replacement

I just ran a finger over it. I thought it was paint, but as you write it is in fact a chip...

Last night I disassembled Batman and gently pulled the seams from the back of his shoulders, armpits. It helped my PF quite a bit. It's not perfect but it was quite an improvement.

How much do those said custom pieces (whatever they end up being) usually cost for a PF?

I was told a custom Batarang hand would be around $85. Like others I'm also hoping for a grappling gun or other possibilities. Cost probably depends on how difficult the piece is. I'm also new to this, so I'm not the most qualified person to answer that question.

Ok, I've had a couple days with Batman, and have gone over him with a fine toothed comb. What do you guys think of these issues:

1. Fabric snag on left bicep:

2. Small chip on left glove:

3. Small puncture on chest logo (grey cloth showing through):

4. Brown flecks on cape:

The snag on the bicep is what bugs me the most, as it is basically front and centre when I display it. Granted, it's only noticeable when you stand within a few feet from him. The other issues I could live with, but that snag irks me now that I know it is there. I suppose it can't hurt to send in the pics to SS and see what they offer. My hesitation is that my "pits" are actually pretty good (I'm told I have really nice pits ).

Besides the brown spot I wouldnt accept it - having a hard time accepting a chip in my bats chin - so i wont. Have to go over mine tomorrow like you did when daylight is back.

Yes, the brown spot is not a big deal by itself, but I'll send the pic to SS anyway. They open in a few minutes...guess I'll be giving them a call.

Rule #1 : Never look over a statue with a fine toothed comb, you are bound to find flaws.

You are right - BUT... with SS making great figs and other times ship out nearly broken stuff, I guess we have to to some degree

Yes, you're right. I am generally ok with minor flaws that don't affect the general appearance of the piece...like you said, nearly every piece has them. But, the snag on the left arm bugs me.

I sent the pics into SS already, so I'll see what they say.

If you look at my pics, with the Canale head in place it isn't as noticeable since it's under the chin. On Andy B's chin it's front and center.

Other than those two issues, the piece is amazing. The armpit issue isn't really an issue in person. Pics make it seem worse.

Don't look for flaws?! That's insane, put that **** under magnifiying glass, black light, X-ray if you can, after paying the amounts you're paying KNOW WHAT YOU GOT! If you happy with what you find( flaws or no flaws) then fine if not do what you got to do, just don't come here crying like a little princess about it and don't let the other divas here affect your decisions, mention what's bothering you, Discuss(DISCUSS!) it with whoever is willing and move on.
