I know what you mean about spider-man. It's not for me and now has kind of scared me off from PO the MOS Figure. I'm afraid they're going to change the HS on that and the suit might not look great since it's a different texture than the spandex they used on C Reeves Superman. Back to this figure. It turned out what exactly HT showed everyone. I opted for the DieCast version because I wasn't sold on the static poses for these guys. Hope you guys enjoy yours and post some pics.

:peace

HT announced a static figure capable of doing one pose, pretty ok looking I guess, "affordable" in a sense (compared to other figures that is). They never lied with the proto, this is what it is.

Why are some of you so surprised? They are putting out exactly what they said they were putting out. There's a Die cast mms version of this that I'm sure will appeal some of the peeps that find this release underwhelming ( it was never meant to be other than that).

Easy pass for me, but I can appreciate it for what it is.

It does suck when they show a proto that is cool looking and then end up releasing a piece of crap figure worthy of a walmart shelf, like Spider-Man.

People are officially blind on that board.

Well I just canceled this guy and just in time cause I bet he ships out this week. I had been on the fence since I ended up preordering the mms 42 and really saw no reason to have this too. Saves me money for other figures anyway. Thanks for that video it helped me finally cancel him. Still wanna see some in hand picks when he comes out just for reference, I'm sure he's fine if you don't plan on getting the mms.

How so? Proportions wrong? Mark 42 inaccuracies? Colors incorrect?

Looks exactly like the product photos that have been up for months :lol

You're sounding like the defense attorney for this piece. Who cares if some don't like it for whatever reason? You can't possibly expect everyone to think alike, especially here.

:D

People routinely pay 400 for IM figures just to pose them museum style or plan on sticking them in the HOA sardine cans. For $165 you get a great armored IM in a great pose, a few posing options and a nice base.

LOL exactly. Show me one other MMS Iron Man figure that can do this pose. I looooove the Mk V suit, but that damn figure is almost less poseable than this one.

I think it looks pretty awesome and serves its purpose. It is funny because some won't ever display their figures any other way but hands to the side with fists, hahaha.

*looks up at my figures* :(

I think it looks better in the standing position. The flight pose seems kinda awkward, like he's falling. It has always reminded me of Mario shooting a fireball and jumping off the stage.

The whole selling point is the price, but I think it could be cheaper for what this is. As a statue its not very impressive, they should have given it a diorama base to make it more dynamic.

Igor doesn't seem to have all that much pose ability/articulation.

That son of a gun is $500+. (Yes, I'm getting it. Sue me)

I can see this specific piece on my work desk just for fun. Looks cool, plays the part.

Might even consider it down the road, if a good deal is to be had. As it is right now, I have too much stuff on PO, and a not so pleased gf who just found out my SSC account password.
