I feel like with this figure. The costume suppose to look not so great and rush with a old Captain America feel but the Proto costume on it looks much better than what we're getting. It just bums me out I wanted this but isn't worth the price. If it was exactly like the Proto with the extra hands and maybe a couple other accessories. If it goes down in price or get some gift cards or codes ill re order. For now ill save my money for other items I want.

Yeah your right its over priced but then again they all are. They hike em pay em. :slap

I get my tomorrow and I'm very excited. I'll post some pics after a good futzing so people know what to expect. Really hasn't been much in here yet.

Love to hear what you think of the body Robbie.
IMO it's the worst TT mash up I've ever seen HT release. It reminded me of a sub par Enterbay body.

I think the figure looks great. It is suppose to have a crappy handmade quality about the suit. Like some old lady threw it together or something. Didn't anybodies grandmother ever make them a Super Hero Halloween costume on here? Wish I could find my Batman costume my granny made for me back in 77. I would totally get this if I collected Marvel.

I don't think the suit is the main issue, although the seams are sloppy. You know there is a massive difference between something intentionally looking homemade and actually being badly made right? Especially in 1:6?

But anyway, sure people can excuse the suit if they wish, happy with it? Then great. What's the excuse for the lumpy, bumpy bizarro body shape? seriously wait till you guys see the "belly" in hand. Did granny make that as well?
:lol

Ha, ha - classic Rorywan!! They're great points.

I think this figure puts a lot of things in perspective, in how crazy and overpriced this 1:6 scale market has become. This is a $120 figure at best.

I have disposable income, but after Hulk arrives I'm pretty much done with 1:6 scale and prices, it's all just become too absurd.

You will love Hulk mate, it's fantastic and completely worth the cash. But I agree there is no way this is a $200 figure. It's nice to have once fixed up, but I'm sorry I didn't wait for the prices to drop when these are left unsold. Unless HT made a tiny number of them (doubtful) they will be around for quiet a while..

So I did quite a bit more work on him (dead at work), think I'm done now. And yes it is possible to get the finger pointing from one of the hands... I tried to make him look as realistic as possible.

Not sure what the TTM-19 is going for these days (Indy body) that's what I used on mine. That's all you need really?

I thought it was just the 'fat' suit messing up the look of Cap...why did you change to a whole new body?

The abs have a thick layer of foam glued to them giving the belly. The shoulders are even worse, muscle body arms on a non matching TT torso. Bumps and foam sticking out everywhere and a crazy looking lack of neck muscles. I kept the lower half of the body but replaced the torso with the correct one to match the arms.

I like it, but won't buy it. It's too expensive and there are too many awesome figures coming up soon.

Ditto. Nice job Rorywan but too expensive and needs to much time and materials to make it what it should have been out of the box.
Pretty much a misfire from HT imo.

Awful figure ..just awful- there will be plenty leftover , unlike new IM or even Supes III
