That's insane.

It is. Requires another quote.

I think any reveals got pushed back due to Lone Ranger and Man of Steel focus. I understand needs to stretch out releases as long as they can, with Batman Returns that can happen whenever.

The thing with the Batman Returns line is they can pretty much release it whenever and it'll sell. Batman is one of those characters who is universally loved enough that it doesn't really matter too much when it releases as fans will eat up the figures either way. I'm guessing other stuff like The Lone Ranger and Man of Steel figures are just being shown right now to coincide with the hype for the films.

Yes...but there always going to be another movie...
Really though summer is close to being done and there won't be a ton of new films left to make figures out of, except Thor: The Dark World so Hot Toys will be able to focus on what they've announced and maybe throw in a few new figures from other lines here and there.

Next year is the 75th anniversary of Batman. I would count on Hot Toys aligning the unveiling of this line with the big milestone. Revealing this year would have cut into the 66 limelight.

I could see Arkham showing up this fall to align with the new video game. If I were a Hot Toys marketer that's what I would do, any way.

**** projectile mouth ****ting fat man and crazy leather daddy cat lady. Arkham's where it's at. We've already got one Keaton Batman, I'd much rather they give Arkham its shot, first.

Arkham (all three of them) has a million action figure lines between them. Multiple toy companies have been producing a great selection of characters and scales. NECA is jumping in on it too and will soon unveil a quarter scale Batman.

Batman Returns has . . . . . a Kenner line from the early 90s.

This is the only action figure available of, **** projectile mouth ****ting fat man,

A repaint of an Super Powers figure from the 80s from almost thirty years ago. That's it.

I think folks could live without seeing another Arkham Batman line for a few months.

That's why I always used BTAS Penguin. Makes a good Returns Cobblepot substitute.

Oh, well; Nicholson's better, anyways,:lol and the point is that neither those DC Direct, NECA, or Kenner figures are of any relevance, as this issue is pertaining to Hot Toys. For Pete's sake, they've been working on them for a year and a half and have confirmed that The Joker is finished. Wouldn't you rather they just get it out of the way so they can focus their energy on 1/6th and 1/4 scale Returns stuff?

No, I actually hope they cancel the Arkham stuff. Or better yet, I hope they come out looking like **** like their other video game figures. :lol

I'm glad the 60's West stuff came out. I was afraid the Arkham crap would have been unveiled first since it'd be more "relevant" to Hot Toys.
