So I just checked my order for the regular, and sideshow have actually given me a shipping cost and changed the status to shipping soon. Hopefully it should be here before the month is out.

Question though, My total order is $285 shipped, does my NRD get knocked off that?

285 seems high if your getting it shipped in US, contact help desk, the NRD is adjusted into final price not afterwards, like if you flex payed for it, you can see in your details where the NRD is deducted and then your remaining payments are reflected with this.

I know how you feel. When I was deployed, I had eight figures waiting for me. In addition to missing my family, of course, I was dying. I had to live vicariously through all the pics on figures I owned but hadn't seen.

From the looks of the pics, you should be very happy.

Those don't work on every item, do they?

Isn't there a list of items that are eligible for coupons and such? Dont think SS would include pre-ordered items in that list. Usually its stock they are trying to get rid of.

There so it basically boils down to what I originally said. Sideshow seems to do whatever the hell they want. And I really don't see them letting us use those coupons with newer pre-order items because they want as much $$$$ as they can get first. I was actually surprised as hell that they allowed Rewards points on Hulk.

i have something like 200 bucks in rewards points because every preorder item i attempted to spend them on that i actually wanted was free shipping at the time.

most newer preorders are free shipping unless an exclusive or oversized box of some kind where they would be losing on allowing free shipping of that item.

Thats usually hows its been in the past, but Ive noticed that some of the most recent HT pre-orders dont have free shipping anymore.

Now I understand that The Diecast ones would probably be too heavy to offer free shipping but what about the others?

I mean they are offering free shipping on HT Jake Sully, those cant nearly be as big or heavy.

I have a feeling they are phasing out the free shipping altogether.

I have also noticed that at Cornerstorecomics (my secondary Online shop from SS), that their prices used to be a bit cheaper than sideshow, but they are now matched with SS, is that due to CSC or SS not giving them a discount on wholesale anymore or what?

Like if there was a release that I didnt mind waiting awhile on that I could get $20 or so cheaper then Id go with CSC, but now they are the same price. Im guessing its on SS side, to get more people to order directly through them. Skip the middle man per se. I cant see why CSC would want to shoot themselves in the foot by pricing them the same.

I redid the face mask and jaw both on my mark VII. Here is a in progress picture(sorry I took it quick with my iphone). Still have to do all the finishing work though(nice clean black lines at the base of jaw, lines by the eyes, etc.) but the shape of the face mask and lower jaw are a done deal. I have never worked in 1/6th scale and all I can say is that it is VERY TINY! lol

Thats weird that CSC would be pricing them the same as SS then. Wonder whats up with that.

But really It started to get to the point it was easier ordering through SS when they had free shipping since if you ordered through CSC plus shipping youd be paying about the same as what SS was offering with Free shipping and you get the rewards points AND youd get it sooner, now its all messed up.

The lesson I take from ordering the regular is that it's not worth getting free shipping if I have to wait 4-6 more weeks to get the figure. Seeing all these pictures of people getting their Mk VII's is driving me crazy!
