well big shocker, got the email response back that they checked other statues and (surprise) they have none any better than mine. never even offered me a stupid $20 credit.

If i didn't like the piece so much, i'd smash the ***** and get my full purchase price back. Really starting to rethink this whole collecting hobby. really piss poor business practices SSC.

I know it doesn't surprise me all that much, but still its disappointing to say the least

Weird, I got my response back today about the chip in my ivy's foot. They told me "They didn't have any replacements" but offered me a $35 credit, which I'm going to try and have them apply to my Batman EX.

That is the same response I got for my LD. The base had 2 clear chips on it. I figure I will just keep it as long as I get a 10.00 to 20.00 partial refund. But they said no. I'm kind of surprise at thatkindd of response for a damage base. So it keep it the way it is or return it. I had to return it. It was not like this before. It puts a sour taste in collecting. Response time is taking much longer, replacement parts are almost impossible to get, what happen?

Broken and a no response?? That's crazy did you take pics of the damage? Did you post here?

Replacement Ivy will be here sometime today. Wonder if they even looksd over this one. I have a feeling the one they send today will be worse.

Didn't know Ivy was old enough to have varicose vines.

yeah the guy I bought it from said no returns even though he sold it to me knowing it had a broken heal. he said he would help contact sideshow but it seems like they will do nothing about it as others said they wont get a replacement. who the heck sends out a broken statue and states no returns and refunds. crook.

i wouldn't buy this statue from people from ebay as this statue seems to have to many flaws from what people are stating.

Got my replacement to choose from today. No booger, her skin is totally different.My booger queen now comparing the two is more peachy in color, replacement one is pale. Eyes are perfect, vines on legs pretty much same. The plant head on left sits away from legs, on my first it rubbed against the leg.

Pretty happy with the new one, but the collector in me wants both because of the drastic difference in skin tone.

Gonna send back booger queen, if they resell her I hope they fix it, other than that she was perfect.

Do you have to do anything special sending it back, tape the foam all back up?

She came in the exclusive brown shipper, but not numbered, and her box had the 1500 sticker on it, but not numbered.

as the complaints on this piece keeps on going i'm not thinking of buying her for putting her with my Pf The Joker. she won't be available here in Belgium untill the end of july, you can imagine what it would be if i'd recieve her damaged or paint chip problems.

i'm curious what the Batman Pf will bring. hope i can join my Joker with him and having no problems what so ever. pfff...starting to have a lot of doubts more and more about Sidewhow.

Hey don't take that crap from him. Do a eBay dispute case. Normally I would not recommend it if the seller is fair. In this case it's very unfair to the buyer. That's the troubles of selling statues. The seller wanted the max price without saying any of the so called minor issues. Do the dispute ASAP and get your money back before it's too late.

Write "THIS IS A RETURN" on the styrofoam, or draw smileys on it like we've seen before

Got my replacement body approved today they will send me the body and then I have to ship back one of the bodies within 5 days it says. I guess they are done with the smash the damaged one method

So William instructed me to destroy the entire thing (Statue AND base) in a garbage bag, take pics and reply to him. I'm waiting for the replacement approval email from him. When I spoke to him, he mentioned that the base will be replaced as well and they will write in the same number edition as my current one. I'm surprised to hear that your's is not numbered?

received my replacement today, not good enough! not sure which one to keep, each one have its set of problems:
the old:
lazy eyes & gap in the top hair

the replacement:
the hair is not fully painted around the face, bigger hair gap on the left side of the face & need to drill new hole in the base since the back foot doesn't fit in the hole.

EDIT: the left is the original, the right is the replacement
what do u guys/gals think, I think the replacement is easier to fix/touch up??

I don't see anything wrong with the one on the left side? the eyes look perfect.
