A teal female body to replace the one on sideshow assaj.

a Black male one i can put red tat's on for dath maul, etc.
How about a blue one so i can make a skeletor Custom?

You can use paint to turn a normal figure those colours.

And then, you can move a joint, and have the paint rub off!

all teasing aside, do you know a good way to prevent the paint from coming off the figure? I've even tried dying the plastics in the past with no luck.

Well a good primer coat does wonders.
I have never painted a figure like this.
I did make a custom FF spidey once but drawing the pattern onto a white jumpsuit which was on a TTM19, and the permanent ink i used took forever to get off the TTM19 underneath...(I had to use cellulose thinners!).
So...
If you have a good spread of sharpie markers in many different colours, those might do the trick.

No rub and solid bright colour.

You need to add acetone to your mix. It helps the dye to hold to the plastic.

How much Acetone, to how much water?

and it seems to dye the rubbery torso parts just fine too?

it also looks like you did a bit of a wash to help bring out the muscle definition as well?

Your not the only one. I've been contemplating adding color to some of my KP bodies too. I'm just worried about getting it right.

As you know at KP we always find inspiration in real life people… but we do not like to make “replicas” of real actors or famous persons..
We simply regard it as an artistic inspiration… We give the sculptures a personal touch so that in the end the finished sculpture only bears a slight resemblance with the original person.
Sometimes we even combine two different real life people in one single sculpture!!!
For sure part of inspiration was Benoit.. but just a bit.

Only issue I have is that the head color on the Black model doesn't match the body color.

But I do really like the Black head sculpt, would make an excellent Stalker replacement, and the scowl on the white head sculpt would work well on soldier figures. I'd love to pick up a set of these.
