Dying to know about the Dr Doom PF..

I wonder if the people who are saying it's only worth 700-1k tops have owned one?

When I got into this hobby I was on that side, I couldn't see myself paying more than 500 bucks for Doom. Now that I own him, if you can get him anywhere in the 1.5k range (and can afford to do so of course), I think you should. Easily the best statue I have in my collection; pictures do it no justice, amazing sculpt, paint, perfect mixed media usage.

I can sit here and say that I will never pay the $ for a Doom, but knowing my OCD tendencies, I'll probably have one by the end of the year Still, it is tough to justify when you can get 3 or 4 other outstanding pieces for the same cost.

Doom PF looks amazing...never seen one in person, though. I'm actually scared to, as I 'd likely immediately have to run out and buy one!

Venom 1:1 is one of my very favs in my collection.. My 6 year old is still scared of it... ha..

Yet again, Venom is on the heavy side, still not over the extra I had to pay in shipping for that...

Ok...was going to say you're crazy if it was the newer one. That said, I do quite like the mouth on the newer one...the eyes lose it for me. Throw some classic McFarlane style big white eyes on it, and that baby would be sitting on my shelf right now.

I don't know, honestly. The LSF looks incredible, but the issues that have popped up with the other LSF's scares me a little (Maul, Wolf Pred). At 2K, the LSF better be perfect. I'll wait and see how the Wolverine turns out.

But the PF seems to be ultra high quality and is universally loved by everyone that owns one.

It'd be a really tough call between the two.
