I broke my "movie characters only" rule very recently, and since then I have been picking up pieces that caught my eye immediately but I didn't buy because of my self imposed collecting rule. This is one of those pieces that is not in the LOTR, yet will shine in a LOTR collection. To be honest, this is the one and only LOTR (based) piece I own. What sucks is this Troll makes me want the Sauron PF. :slap

It's been said before...but if anyone reading this thread is on the fence...you won't regret buying this piece.

Who cares if it was in the movie... that should not make or break an item in every case I don't think. In my opinion items from both LOTR and Star Wars aren't about just the movies. They are entire universes in themselves with a vast array of creatures and lore. The movies can only showcase a few different things. In most movies or tv series... of course I want something from the actual film but in my opinion LOTR is different.

If all else fails just pretend the dwarf the troll is holding is gimli :)

To each their own I suppose because this statue is amazing!

Hrm I guess it did finally sell out. I am surprised it took so long with a low ed number. I am glad I got this bad boy! Trolls were always my favorite part of LOTR.

Too bad I missed out on this piece. Was about to order him but right when I was going to add to cart he's sold out. A bummer really wanted this but bought another piece instead.

Congrats Ballder :wave

Yeah, he is a very nice piece for sure and well worth having in a LOTR collection. :rock

Pictures don't do him justice I agree...but you can still post some...we won't object :lol

Enjoy! :)
