As someone who owns many customs based on Batman etc., The cost of a custom statue that is 1/5 scale usually costs roughly $700 or more. Imagine 1/4 scale being much more for a custom depending on the piece. Sideshow is charging $350 for 1/4 scale Poison ivy, and $400 for 1/4 scale Batman. Also take into account that though most customs are very well done, none of them are ever perfect, and most don't match up to the quality on display her with the Sideshow pieces. I love my customs, but when Sideshow acquired the DC license, my days of collecting customs came to a halt. Now, for me to shell out the dough for a custom, it has to be that special, because Sideshow is about to change the game.

As others have already said, the only possible motive in lying would be to encourage others to jump off the wait list or to cancel altogether.
In various forms, this kind of NLP goes on all the time here.
I'm not saying that he is lying and I am not saying that he is not - I don't know. Just saying that it's easy enough to prove one way or another.

The only way I would believe him, if he had proof because I have nothing else to go on. You could agree then I should believe him because I have nothing else to go on, however I tend to require trust before I truly believe people, I guess that is one of my negatives.
Although we really don't need to continue this conversation because it is pointless. Some people will believe, some won't.
I am still keeping this statue cause it is DC and ****ing awesome.
You guys also apparently have not been on the internet very long if you think people have no reason to lie for the simple fact that want to be trolled or liked. I am NOT saying that is the case here, but people like all the time of no reason, especially on the internet.

I think the assumption is either during the gallery or after the gallery they will be putting prints up. Just make sure you are subscribed to the Mondo thread, most news gets posted their pretty quickly.
