Do you think the Arkham Batman shouldn't be made?

Yes.

Hamill Joker is Hamill Joker is Hamill Joker, and I think it's a great character design from a great game, and it deserves to be made;

NO!

moreso than Pepper Potts, that's for damn sure.

NOOOO!!!!!

Paltrow needs a figure.

Just because it's not from a movie doesn't mean it's not worthy of a figure, and why would you lol at those things? The entire purpose of this hobby is to represent things we like, so, if people like Tyler Durden's and Walter Whites, why shouldn't they be made?

I like a lot of things, not everything needs a toy. While half of what I'm expressing in this thread is farcical and purposely absurd (just like this hobby in general), that last part is true. Half the things people want aren't even toyetic or worthy of "action" figures anymore.

I love half the things I've listed (Back to the Future is fantastic), but, no mo toys. Recently, I got into AMC's the Walking Dead. Pretty hardcore actually. For a millisecond, the idea of toys and figures had dawned on me, but, that notion quickly died away once reality set in.

We can all love these things without "owning" or "representing" them in cheap plastic.

IF IT AIN'T TOYETIC IT SHOULDN'T BE MADE.

I guess the point here is, Hot Toys has trouble juggling toys from movie licenses, can they really handle things that spawn out to GAMES and COMICS and DIOS and BUSTS and STATUES and , and, and?

It's like nothing is ever good enough. No thirst is unquenchable when it comes to this hobby or collecting. People always want MOAR!

I'm warming to Iron Man again, i hated how he was all smug and arrogant in IM2, just didn't like him as a character in that. I hope in IM3 he's likable once more like he was in IM1 as it looks good from the previews.

Collectible-wise i've got my MKIV and have sold the rest, i'm not in the hobby to sell and buy the latest version, that's just not me. And with licenses like this and Batman it's easy to get sucked into that pattern.

That being said i love the colour scheme of this and will probably get an Iron Patriot figure to pose with ASM and pretend it's Osborn in there :rock

Stark was likeable in part 1 as he should and a bit less in 2 like he should. Never had an issue with that.

Yes, it is easy. I have all the iron man armors. Not to buy and sell but I love the looks. People ranting about something be milked they don't like is annoying I'm sorry. You may not have meant for it to be that way but there are fans who want it and eventually the tide will turn a different direction. Just let it go until it does.

He's just yanking your chain because he knows you want it. Same with me and Prof X

Yes.

Well, fans will be glad to know that Hot Toys is cancelled. Howard filed for Chapter 11 this morning.

That would be a good day. Sure it would be a day of mixed feelings, but I'm sure the majority would be relieved. No more compulsions.

Coulson is about as un-toyetic as it gets imo, but apparently people wanted him :dunno

:goodpost:

After getting three Avenger & TDKR pre-orders in a row the most common posts were "can't wait for (next character) figure" or where is (insert character or vehicle)?

We're all guilty of it sometimes, but when it's "when's the next one" just after one has been revealed that's when it's really WTF worthy

Understood, but i'll leave it at saying i'm not theonly one ranting or even the worst one, in this thread now in the present that is ;)

GIMME SOME MOAR.

I do want to see a picture of someone's Hot Toys Iron Man collection (but only if they've bought every Iron Man related figure/dio/bust/statue etc.)

Imagine that lineup.

That's figure of the year you're talking about pal.

Only good thing about him (as a figure) are his bloody Cap cards.

Figure's worth the money for the body and suit. Might buy a whole buncha him to use with Rainman's Jules and Vincent and Rocco's Reservoir Dogs guys.

TOYYYYYYYYS!

Comic books self-perpetuate themselves all the time and people bother to complain about a toy company that does the same thing?

Yes.

NO!

So, you don't think an Arkham Joker is toyetic, what about Mr. Freeze, and, on that note, do you really think a $300 Tony Stark should've been made?

Don't worry the thread will be turned over to those who like it after a day or two. The first day is when the outrage and 'WTF?' & 'PASS!' Comments flood then that subsides and the likers get to like.
Happens everytime.

Well i'm off, the thread is yours, enjoy your statue/figure hybrid :wave

Not even HT can make me pull the trigger on this. Easy pass finally. Yayyyy...
