Wait, which one is hawt, the Latin Tony Stark head sculpt, or RDJ? 'Cuz they don't look like each other!

And I love the idea of Loki tossing this figure off a shelf "I despise you for your sub-par sculpt! Why can't you look perfect, like me?!"

The figure looks hawt, he looks great. It does not have to be a 100% spot-on likeness for me, since this figure is of Tony Stark, not RDJ. Heresy, I know. Besides, they are very likely to tweak the sculpt before we get it.

I am seriously considering buying this, and selling the parts I dont want/need seperately - I dont have the sheer ROOM to display all this gadgetry. He would look great facing off against Loki on the other side of the cabinet, no lie.

Apparently in the new film he makes a lot of suits between this one and the Mark VII from the Avengers.

There are pictures showing up online that have silhouettes of other armours in the background.
Might be some of these other armours we have been hearing about...

I hope all the armor suits on film isn't gonna look like hasbro-galore..

It would be cool though if there's a Hulkbuster cameo as one of the suits, and Tony Stark briefly explaining it's for emergency in case the Hulk runs wild or something..

They were saying $280 earlier in the thread, Q. Which is unbelievably cheap, will see if this price holds true.

Only after two bottles of cheap Scotch. Why? We are getting a lot of stuff with it. Power items, dummy, stand. Only draw back from what I see is. We are not going to have a full mark 42. This means we will be also buying that.

Me, I am okay with it. As long as this, 42, War Machine (s), and I really hope Pepper mark. Is under $1,000 I am good.

This will also go good with the Granty.

Let's see..

this, 2 WMs (the two paint variants), Mk 42 (or 47??)

That's 4 figures with the first one already more than 1/4th of $1000.

Then, we still have to account for the "other" unseen armors and the Mandarin.

Prospects not looking good. :lol

Where did 42 come from anyway. I keep seeing it in this thread but I'm almost certain that it is the Mark 47.

So who is wrong here because a google search seems to say that the HT Bust is really the only link to XLII but XLVII is much more wide spread like having a page on the Iron Man wiki.

Is it changed in the movie or did Hot Toys make a mistake?

Been doing the same type of research as well. :lol

Must be a mistake on the bust or a recent change in
the movie.. Can't find anything conclusive as of the moment.

Or maybe that is the MK 42 and the MK 47 simply hasn't been shown yet. Could be the final suit in the movie.

Well, iirc, Mk 8-47 are supposed to look the same.
Maybe 42 and 47 have special scenes in the movie.

e.g. 42 is that automated body guard that holds Pepper's hand,
while 47 is the one Tony wears. :D

I should clarify that this figure is cheap FROM A HOT TOYS PERSPECTIVE. Is it ACTUALLY cheap? No.

I'm just having trouble figuring out why its only $60 more than figures with far fewer accessories. Or maybe they figured people who had already bought the suit-up gantry were price-fatigued, and rightfully so. 'Cause that thing was a straight-up fortune.

I'm not buying the Mark 42, that is just me. The full suits of armor make me nervous from a quality standpoint, I dont like the fact that all of the pelvic armor seems to turn pink over time. I could fix it, but dont feel I should have to.

I will think this figure over for a while, but may end up picking him up.

God i really hope they make all of those , the grey/correct looking war machine is the one figure i have to have from this movie so far, who am i kidding i will get the 42/47 one too. I missed the first war machine and hate the milk version. I really hope they do both versions of him  i will be pissed if they only do the iron patriot one.

More I look at this figure the more it's 100% RDJ :yess:

One thing that does surprise me though is that there's no crutch grab stand, there's not even an option to add one into the stage
