Try clicking on the pic to enlarge it. It's a small 1/4 inch long break in the plastic. Mine was probably just made that way... I guess that will teach me to be OCD and not remove figures from the box when I get them. Now I'm on the hunt for a replacement cowl, because this won't stop bothering me.

I see what you're saying. I've not seen that on my figure.

Always, always always inspect your figures! HTs & SSCs have too many QC issues to not fully inspect each item.

Yeah I've certainly learned my lesson. Two broken boots and a broken cowl! I've replaced the boots, so hopefully i can find a new cowl as well.

Found a relatively elegant solution to the size of the DX12 belt:

I just removed the pointless grapple gun clip, widened the holes on the remaining part and clipped it together.

Fits just right now.

That looks like a great mod!

The great MISB con. I won't buy an older figure MISB. I'd actually pay more for an item listed as 'opened for inspection then put back in the box', or 'displayed behind glass since new'. In the long run I don't think there'd be too many people who care too much between MIB and MISB. Comics are one thing, but you want to get any QC stuff sorted out pronto.

I often buy duplicates of pieces I like which I tend to sell on later. I always inspect everything, even if i leave it in the box, and mention it in the listing. I think this benefits both parties when trading from someone's own collection. I'd rather take a hit on listing price than discover a nasty surprise later and lose money and time.

It seems like most people here ask around $300 or more for a new one; I've seen prices get up to $350 or so bidding on eBay.

If you want to sell it in pieces I'd be glad to buy the cowl from you...
But definitely check around on prices.

Can someone please compare, whether the DX12 or the Batsuit Begins Bruce Wayne head has a bigger neck diameter?

I'm just wondering if the DX12 will fit better on a suit I'm about to use.
The DX12 head is probably the bigger one, right?
But still I hope the neck might be thinner.

I boxed my TF begins batman up a little while ago as I've been sorting my house out a bit and boxed up most of my collection. I recently took him out the box and as soon as I touched the foot the boot fell off. It had previously seemed fine but inevitably went the way most others has.
So just wondering, does anybody know if the dx12 boots/shoes will fit this and be ok. I saw what happened to maglor's dx02 but obviously that's a whole different beast.
