CM dropped the max edition size to 500 on this one, the rest of their statues had a 1000 ES. I think they might use this as justification for a 2K price tag. We'll find out in an hour. It's up for preorder in the UK for over 2K USD though.

Even with a 1000 ES on Darth Vader, they stopped production at around 300.
 
My only, very tiny, gripe with the piece is that the water seems to be far too blue. It was the "black lagoon," not the "blue lagoon."

That would be a whole different statue! :D

I agree. While I think the blue looks really nice, greener water would fit this piece better.
 
I think it looks pretty damn good. It represents classic horror very well. I just don't think there's any way I could swing it :(.
