Thanks, that blur is called depth of field and is intentional, it gives photographs a sense of atmosphere and reality. Glad to hear you don't like it.

:lol

I know that. I'm a photographer as well. But you deliberately missed the face. Hence I call it the blur.

Call it whatever you like mate, I intentionally did therefore if it is correct to the look I wanted. If your personal preference is complete sharp soul less images, bravo, bully for you. :clap

I like it it this way and it was my photograph. never heard a profession photographer refer to something as a "blur" though?

You don't like my photography style? That's your prerogative. But since I have no respect for your opinion, that means absolutely nothing to me.

Zero interest in carrying on this conversation further with you, so...

.....you can carry on now, nothing else to see.

Glad I pre-ordered this bad boy. Now if I could just pick up some over time days at work...

No need to get ratty with me. DOF is great though I called it a blur because focusing the shallow dof on the shirt instead of the head, whatever reasoning you got behind it, seems more like a fluke. If that is not the case then that is not the case. No need to get offended.

Besides I did say that it's a very nice pic, didn't I.

vodoun recently bashed my photography for having to much "blur", and I know damn well he understands shallow DOF. Guess not everybody like it. :dunno

In yongkykun's defense, the eyes are not in focus, which misses the usual intent when using shallow DOF for a portrait.

In Rory's defense, maybe he was trying to showcase the outfit.

You know that you've passed the point of no return when all that you care about in that pic is the Gordon figure. :lecture

Eh, when I want to look at toys, I'm going to be focused on toys. There are plenty of other places to look at women on the internet. :lol
