I didn't bother reading the instructions. Kind of figured they were there, not to correct what they already did, but to help you reset it if you undid it and ____ed it up. or to help you put it around the figure's forehead if you wanted. Mine looked fine out of the box.

Does this look anything like the prototype in-hand? Based off this photo I would say 'no' but I would rather ask point blank than just assume. I'm mainly talking about paint apps.

It's a badass figure. Both classic ARAH purists and fans of modernized Joes like the figure. That's a home run.
