I really do like the new body a lot better. Articulation is not as extensive, but I like my Predators in stoic poses.

Karamazov80 is right that these new ones are better in pretty much every way, but I've still got nostalgia factor to consider on my old ones. Either way, I'm at least getting one of these guys.

I dont hate this figure... But I wont sell my Ver 1 P2 to buy him ether matter of fact wont buy him at all... Hot Toys bring on Elder Pred and try not to let him look like a Classic/Elder miss mash... :wink1::wink1::wink1:

Is it just me or is he lacking a dozen dreads or so...

And the lower mandibles are so damn long..... :monkey2

____, I really wanted this.

You knew what was going to happen though. It was never going to be perfect.

The paint job is helping me warm to the headsculpt more. They really delivered on the paint.

Yeah okay, the last comparison has convinced me not to purchase him.

I am strong. Someday the perfect P2 will come along...

Maybe another 5 years...:dunno

Maybe you should buy it LT. I'm sure there will be some changes during production, hopefully the mask. He will be fun to own and as you said the paint/ colours are gorgeous.

Im very happy with my P2 figure as he stands now Mike... The new one and this is how I feel looks like they took the cheap way out and did a mad job of mixing the Classic/P2 head sculpts together cheap and effect and down right FUGLY if you ask me... That was my joke about Elder/Classic miss mash...

I'm getting that effect from the paint, too. If it is successful at making anything better, it's the overall appearance of the mandibles. HT can make inaccuracy look good every once in a while (I've already shared my positive thoughts on the shape and texture of the bio), but the pose of these mandibles on Shadow and Classic looks so... plain. Like the sides of their heads are too narrow and there isn't enough going on to look at. I like more of a curve to the lower jaw, but these just straight out and down. The paint greatly reduces that.

Geez, so HT is re-using trophies too. :slap

Like they haven't done that before. Case in point, original P2 and P1.
