Yeeeaaaa, yet another Hot Toys Predator thread for REDDICK to troll through.

What for sculpt haha loser ever look buy at for....... Wolf many more Tsang....!?..: Blah blah blah blah lol **+.....!?'hahaha lol.,,,,....

I don't know what's worse, when someone uses Google translator to translate a Hot Toys message into Engrush, or REDDICK's posts. Neither one of them make any damn sense.

PS:
Movie P2 vs HT P2 vs Neca P2 (Joe Dunaway repaint)

I love it but at the same time I hate it, it lacks articulation, it is supposed to be a Predator, an agile hunter, not a robot or a knight inside an armor.

Also those wrist blades look dangerously close to the hand, he is gonna cut himself, that was one of the parts I hated about the original and now it is here again.

Not many accesories, no special sculpted base, wrong headsculpt, at least I hope it is cheap because it sure is dissapointing!!

EDIT: does the wrist cannon on his left arm armor opens or not?? it doesn't show.

yeah it does.

the closed mandibles look is so disappointing i'm not usually a stickler for accuacy but like that he looks like a repaint of Classic/shadow rather than a unique predator :(

another thing, the net gun, it's not listed on the accesories, could be not removable.

First off, either they got a new photographer or the one they normally have was having an off day, because normally their "official photos" are much better than these.

With the helmet on this guy looks great. But the face is all kinds of wrong. So often monster sculpts get a free pass because we're not as privy to the subtleties of non-human faces, but if this were a human sculpt it'd be as off as a Brad Pitt sculpt that looks like George Clooney. When I look at this face I think, "who is that supposed to be?". As someone else pointed out, the "nose" area is way too long, and I think the inner teeth and eyes seem off as well. And as has been mentioned, the mandibles are completely out of character.

Recycling parts is annoying, but recycling the same mistakes they made with the original release is downright frustrating. The way the blades extend is still wrong (their retracted position should be their extended position, with the real retracted position being all the way inside the box), the canon is still way too small and I can't believe they still fastened it to the body with that stupid pole they copied from the McFarlane Predator 2 figure so long ago.

Also disappointing is the lack of accessories; I really thought they could have gone above and beyond for this figure, especially with it being a remake. Instead, it's just the same stuff the original came with, most of it literally the same stuff.

On the plus side the paint application and body/armor looks really good. If the price isn't outrageously north of $200 I'll likely take a wait and see with this one, in hopes that the final release sees some major improvements. That's really disappointing considering this was my most-anticipated new figure of the year.

Well put. This was the first figure of the new Hot Toys Predator revolution. Overall it looks good but it hasn't blown us away in every department which I was hoping Hot Toys would do with the new Preds.

Face it guys, the 1/4 P1 will be a blown up version of Classic.:lecture

- Over 22 points of articulations
- Newly developed head
- Rubber hair

anyone buy that?

It's newly developed, but still wrong.:lol

Hot Toys have fixed issues before. People need to do it through facebook for them to take notice though. As I'll be displaying him masked I hope that issue is resolved first.

Might not be a bad thing. The other one kept popping off with the slightest touch, and it's only a design prop and can't be displayed on a hand or anything.

yes, but is should come with a hand able to hold it properly, that would be an improvment over the original.

My worst HTP2 nightmare so far :lol
Hope it's just another rushed thing about this announcement.

HEY at least now we have some cool palm to go with P2 figure :yess:

Agreed, but with Hot Toys and Sideshow, it's becoming more about quantity over quality. Making sense doesn't make money.

pretty sure that palm comes with with Classic, like they all have :(

Speaking of hands, i really hope the hand for holding the spear is more rigid than the one with shadow which can't hold the spear anymore as it's expanded

This figure does not shout out....AWESOME!!! But whispers good!!! I don’t think it captures the essence of the P2 Predator at all.Very generic. I am very happy about this as I do not want to many Predators in my collection. I will wait for the 20” NECA version and save some money.

my original BD P2 wasn't able to hold the spear after a while, heck, I think that even when it was new it didn't have a proper grip.
