Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Might want to go watch it again then. There is enough internal damage going on there that it will back into the throat. He was choking on his own blood and wouldn't be able to get out words.

I did. He was torn out around the bellybutton. Here ya go:

Unless the zombie had butterflied his rib cage, nothing to prevent him from talking would've been damaged. :wink1:

Because people haven't seen it yet. Time Zones.

Doesn't matter. Per Dave those 3hrs behind need to stay out of the thread until having seen it. Just future, unaired spoilers and comic spoilers need to be spoilertagged.

They didn't give him any lines to say. There, that's why Dale didn't say anything.

Maybe he should've pulled out a grenade and said "This...is for DARABONT!"

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

:lol Again, if the sole reason was to kill Rick, why didn't he do it at any other point? He could've tapped him in the back of the head in the woods, blamed the kid and make a big ruckuss to get Daryl and Glenn back to the house. Instead, he lets him ramble on for 5 minutes, all the while getting closer and closer and then the only time he pulls the trigger is out of reflex from getting stabbed in the chest, and note the gun was pointed away from Rick. :lol
Why do you try to make people feel like fools? You do it all the time. When someone post something you don't agree with you post the laughing smilies. As if their post are laughable or without merit. Stop being a ****** all the time. I think I have and I find my time on here much more enjoyable.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Also, Maggie brought up an interesting theory. Which is what it is. A theory. Only the writers know. And since Maggie was non-existant in this story, I don't know how much merit she has.

If that thing is right, then it just makes Shane more interesting. But it didn't seem that way. Rick is Rick. Rick wouldn't do that to that character. He could've. But he didn't.

If you feel like a fool, that's not my problem. There was nothing in that post that should've been read that way. And the only "******" here is the one namecalling because they feel like an idiot, and it is not I, sir. :huh :lol

:lecture:lecture:lecture :exactly:

She brought up the taunting. Which is relevant, entirely so. People just want to demonize Shane because they're so far removed from identifying what survival in this new world would actually take.

Yea and now the, ''I don't have any idea what you're talking about" ___ick you do so well. I'm sure you've been banned before because of the unfair site rules. Whatever you say man. Back on topic.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

It kinda stinks Shane wasn't fit for the new world cause it looks like they really could use him next week!

Says the dude who just resorted to namecalling because he didn't agree with a post he read and couldn't develop an educated response. How positively hypocritical of you. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Regarding Laurie and whether she manipulated Shane:

Not a fan of Laurie, but I don't think she talked to Shane with the intention of making him unstable (or even more unstable), since if that was the case, what if Shane does suceed in killing Rick or doing something "bad" out of "obsession" over Laurie? But of course, maybe Laurie IS that dumb and manipulative that she's willing to put her family at direct risk.

Regarding Shane and his intention for Rick:

I think he had a lot going on in his mind but nothing solid, because he was confused because Rick is still / was his friend:
-lead rick to the bad guys and see what happens and so be it
-lead rick to walkers and in chaos maybe he'll (shane) submerge as the only survivor
-lead rick to the woods and maybe something will happen and they end up trying to kill each other, and he (shane) survives.

But the fact that the faceoff took place so friggen close to the farm (close enough to the farm for Carl to book it over, and close enough for the viewers to see that they were out of the forest and close to the farm), makes me think that Shane wasn't able to come to any conclusions as to what to do, but since Rick confronted him, he decided that it was "as good as anyplace" to do the faceoff. In conclusion, imo, he had a lot of loose plans but wasn't able to commit to anything out of his clear confusion and inner struggle, and Ricks confrontation gave him the momentum to "accept" the "accusations".

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Something I found interesting was Carl drew the gun on Rick before Shane was even up. So did he think Rick was a zombie or something?
