Spoiler:I wonder who's all gonna be killed off next episode?
Hershel maybe?
Spoiler:What was with the zombie flashes right before Shane was going to change?
The latter part of the season is really starting to stink of lazy writing. Not sure if they were trying to make it look like a "sacrifice" which it sorta did, but it amounts to lazy writing. "How do we solve all these problems in 3 episodes?!" I've no doubt now, Jenner's "secret" is going to be the underwhelming "We'll all be zombies" speculation. Hardly something worth a season's worth of hype.
This reminds me of the SOA season finale which was equally underwhelming and lacked any sort of real depth and storytelling.
Haven't had a problem with the writing myself. I've personally enjoyed every episode and its been on mark for me.

Spoiler:I think it will be Carol
Spoiler:Shane getting stabbed and eventually Carl shooting him. I also enjoyed seeing Daryl do his thing and figure out that Shane was full of BS.
The walker horde coming from behind the hill will be intense next week!
Spoiler:Shane's death really fell flat for me. I thought that inevitable showdown would be much more interesting, but it just felt a bit forced and anti-climactic.

Spoiler:Rick's anguish over having to shoot his best friend was very powerful for me. Didn't feel forced or flat for me.
Wow, I thought it was a powerful scene.

Spoiler:Agreed. Shane's death is the 2nd most powerful scene for me behind the group finding Sophia.
Almost seems like they would've had a more epic finale, letting Randall escape and lead his little band to the farmhouse, the shooting attracts the zombies which kill off the group but inadvertently put the rest in danger and have Shane and Dale work past their differences and sacrifice themselves to let the rest of the group escape a herd.
If only everybody were so easily appeased.

I disagree. Don't even see where either one of you are coming from.

Spoiler:Rick knew he was going to die whether he drew or not. He lulled Shane into a false sense of security by giving up his gun. When Shane was distracted he drew his knife. Don't know why this is considered boring or weak. Also stuck true to the comic by Carl shooting Shane. It may have been zombie Shane but I think it would have caused a stink on tv an adolescent gunning down a policeman.
I am noticing a polarization occurring among TWD fans. Those you have been following the comics for years who are getting mad that the show isn't following them and those who have only seen the TV show and are perfectly happy with the way things are going down.
