I have always been of the opinion that the 'Smirk' nose is too straight, thin and pointy. I have also been of the opinion that the nose on the serious sculpt is perfect. I'm sticking with my opinions!

:)

:lecture:exactly: All I see when I look at the smirk head is the nose. I actually think I might've started to dislike it :(

Here are some pretty good looks at my sash as I have it, I didn't weather it, just rewrapped it and put 2 dimes I'm the tiny flap to weigh it down.

Your Jack looks great man, in what way did you rewrap the sash?

Man, Sparrow really has some Pred dreads going there.

Does anyone have a picture of their figure with fully futzed sash? Maulfan -- you must have one. Rory?

Here are a few pics of mine Wor-Gar, haven't finished it yet..

Rory's just using the dark brown belt, which doesn't have as much excess to it as the light one, the light one should have a bit more than the dark, but HT went a little overboard :lol, but better too much than too little.

I considered it, but thing is, I worry about losing that nice, clean end and having the belt fray, maybe that might appeal to some but as dirty as his movie belts are, they don't look like the stitching is coming loose or anything.

I also debated using that belt from the old Jack's, but the light one has this grainy look to the leather it's made of and isn't as nice looking as the DX belt so I've chosen extra length and the nicer looking belt over accurrate length.

Anything's worth a try, mine's probably even more than others because I really rely on the belt to keep the sash and all in place so I wrap it good and tight on him, which leaves extra slack.

I'm a little curious to know why HT didn't go with cloth for the hanging portion of his head wrap. Plastic works better for the part around his head, allows for a better shape and probably easier to put a hat on him, but cloth for the hanging parts would work better with the new hair. I suppose not getting the pattern easily into the cloth might have deterred them from doing it. Or maybe they think rubber's better, they switched Rambo's headband to rubber on the Rambo 3 after using cloth on Rambo 1 and 2.
