I have the same concerns as Shadow does. I have watched all 10 seasons for better or worse.

First, they shouldn't have started the finale with 7 years in the future. So did a company start the Smallville comic about Clark becoming Superman? Does that mean everyone in the world knows he is Superman, then why still wear the Clark outfit to hide?

I also hate it wen people say, "its a tv show about an alien that has superpower, its a dude that turns to a geen monster, its a skinny guy who turns to a superhero with a serum, you have to suspend belief crap" It is not an excuse for crap writing and plot holes.

If some fo you are happy with mediocrity, then dont ever complain about anything...ever.

DO you guys think well get any Smallville High End Collectables in the future!?

Im looking for a TW likeness Superman Statue, Sculpture anything, it can be custom. My dream is for DC to commision hot toys to do a TW Smallville Clark Kent Figure, With the Red Jacket, Black Costume or even in the Daily planet clothes displaying a shirt rip! OR DC 1/6 13" Figures.

Ill take anything, do u guys think collectables will come?

Sadly no, DCD did a couple of action figure waves which are going for ridiculous prices and the 13" Nightwing unmasked bears a slight resemblance to Welling but other than that I think you're out of luck. DC Direct all but killed their 13" line but if they were going to do a Smallville figure it would have been done by now, I seriously doubt Hot Toys will do a figure (is Smallville big in Asia?) but there is Erick Sosa here who is doing open commissions and of course Moe creating costumes so I would imagine that it wouldn't be too difficult to get it commissioned but it might be expensive.

As for props, there is a site Replicaprops.com who does officially licensed Smallville stuff, they have a ton of replicas or had, I know with the finale there was a huge run on their site, so you might get your Smallville fix there.

Dude, obviously everyone here cares about it, or else we wouldn't be here in the first place.
I coul apply that logic to any time you talk about a movie or tv show. Hell, everytime you complain about one of your predator figres not being up to par I can tell you its just a toy.

No reason for you to be a complete _______ .
My post wasn't meant to be that serious.. :lol

I'd love to see HT make this into a figure...

Although i'm sure it will never happen.

Spenser has a Welling that is pretty good. I'm toying with the idea of trying to commission Kato to do the red jacket...

I've heard A LOT about that the ReplicaProps people. I didn't realize there stuff was officially licensed though. Just read they'll be reproducing the Stones of Knowledge soon. I've seen a few stones on EBay (and even then it's rare.)

Anyone dealt with these people?

Yeah, Spenser does have a great Clark Kent "Blur" head sculpt. I was planning on using it along with a HT Superman Returns outfit for my custom Welling Superman figure.

^^^ I wasn't that vocal, but I did let out a few cheers, especially when it took flight with the suit.

I absolutely loved that episode. I'll probably watch it again tonight.

(Funny stuff though. :lol)

Yeah I geeked out and there may have been a "YES!" accompanied by a fist pump once, but that was the extent of it. I did have a pretty damn big grin on my face the whole time.

:rock

Yeah, it hit we yesterday, when I realized there were no new episodes, that the run was over. Epic finale, IMO.

Minus seasons 3-5, the show was fantastic. Is that Series Collector Set DVD or BluRay ????

I wonder why they didn't offer the complete collectors set on Blu Ray

In the meantime, we can add a few things to the information our owners at TVGuide.com have provided. First of all, we've been informed by Warner Home Video that this release of Smallville - The Complete Series will ONLY be for DVD format, and not on Blu-ray Disc. We asked for some in-depth information about why the studio would make that decision, and we were informed that there are technical issues present in the early seasons. Here's an exact quote from the studio:

"The special effects were created and output for standard definition broadcast using the tools and formats of that time. Elevating the special effects to an acceptable level for HD may require going back to original film elements and re-creating new special effects from scratch to marry with the film elements, which is extremely costly."

So, like other SFX-heavy series which were finished on videotape but not made-for-HD from the ground up (such as Star Trek: The Next Generation, The X-Files, Babylon 5, early seasons of Doctor Who, and others), the first few seasons of Smallville simply aren't up-to-snuff for high def Blu-ray Disc format without paying for a pricey special effects do-over. It's quite understandable that Warner wouldn't go back and do that just now, with the economy still not where everybody wants it to be.

"Wait a second!", you might ask, "didn't Smallville - The Complete 5th Season come out in the now-defunct HD-DVD high-def format? Can't they make a Blu-ray version of it, at least?" Yes, we looked into that question as well. Warner's answer to us was this: "Although the release of Season 5 on Blu-ray is technically possible, we do not have current plans to release Season 5 on BD."
