Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

If it's a real 3D release, you'll need a 3D tv to see it in 3d, but it might be that red and green crap they did for Arkham Asylum that you can use on any tv. If you're asking if you need a 3d tv to play the game, no it'll be played in normal 2d. If you have a 3d tv, you can choose to turn the 3d mode on and play that way is all.

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

It's already confirmed that there is 3 different 3D formats on the game. Anaglyph (red, blue glasses), and the two 3D tv compatible types

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

Ah, good deal. I have a 3d set, so that's cool to hear. This game should lend itself well to 3d.

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

:lol :lol :lol

So even games leak now? Sucks!!

Not reading the spoilers but great to see your positive reaction :D
ahhh good will-power right there! :D
Yeah it really did look awesome - looks like it's gonna blow AA out of the water!

I've tried the stereoscopic mode - and it is definitely how the game is meant to be played. I've played all of the 3D games from what I think was bad (Black Ops) to great (Gears 3) and Batman AC jumps straight to the top of the list. While there is a minor resolution drop, it's nothing like how bad Black Ops looked with 3D mode enabled and is more than worth the added immersion.

All of the cutscenes also look great in 3D.

Soo so tempted to read the spoiler, but with the game so close i'm trying to resist.

Don't do it! I read NOTHING about the game - and it made it that much better once I started it. I literally smiled 4 or 5 times within the first hour because of how great it is and how awesome the story (that I could have read about if I really wanted to) is.

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

I think with the game being so close to being released i have to force myself to avoid the spoilers. If it was like 6 months ago i'd probably read it but for the sake of a week, i'm gonna leave it and enjoy the surprises when i play the game. Although thats got me even more hyped for it now. Damnit!!!! :lol

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

^ Haha! Don't do it Russell!! You'll kick yourself for reading it if you do!
I'm not that bothered at all by spoilers so it didn't matter to me - but for anyone avoiding them I wouldn't recommend reading my spoiler post above!
The gameplay video I watched was completely awesome though - I'm SO pumped for this now!! In a way I wish I hadn't watched it 'cos it's made me 100x more impatient for it....

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)

Haha, I wont. I'm definitely gonna resist it. But just hearing how good it is and what a huge spoiler it is makes me more excited for the release. I was thinking between this, the new Hot Toys Batman and Batman: Year One blu ray i'll have enough to tide me over and each one should make the wait for the others easier. But damn, the more i think about this game the more pumped i am for it. I think it'll beat out my other two Batman related releases.

Nice. Black Ops was indeed a lousy 3d game. I agree that Gears is awesome so that's good to hear.

Re: Batman: Arkham City (No Spoilers)
