Looks good, Tekk!

The head arrived today and Ben and I wasted no time.

I'm so happy Trevor was able to sculpt our most favorite characters.:yess:

A few questions for you Mr. Fusion.

1.) Where did you get that great 1/6 scale vintage Gibson guitar?
2.) Where did you get, or how did you make Marty's "AIWA" brand cassette player and headphones?
3.) Where did you get, or how did you make the Mattel "hoverboard"?
4.) What is the base color of your jacket for Marty? Light black, or gray? I still need to get my Marty custom a denim jacket. I want to get the dark blue denim pieces and iron them on the jacket.
5.) What about those great NIKE shoes with the real shoestrings? Where'd you get them? I have the "Tom's Forrest" ones with the molded shoestrings. They're...okay I guess.
Let me know. Thanks! :wave

I might suggest shooting the man a PM.

Trevor? Done! :)

I wasn't gonna buy this head because I didn't think I could ever do the sculpt justice in terms of outfit, but now that I know Rainman's making one, that changes everything.

I bought the Gibson on eBay a few years ago. It was sort of a burnt orange/brown and Ben painted it.

The Walkman was made out of clear plastic. I made the design and using several pictures and made decals. Ben made the tape. It was also painted in a few spots. The headphones are pretty much just metal from a soda can and black foam.

The Hoverboard was made out of white styrene. I made decals, painted the sides and made the strap out of pink felt.

The base color for the jacket is grey.

Thanks for you interest!

Any chance you would offer the hoverboard decals for sale, or possibly even send them to me, or any of us that are interested in making our own hoverboard? How about the decals for the AIWA cassette player?

Thanks for the info on the base jacket. I'll search for a decent gray one, and get some dark blue denim iron-ons for the patching on the jacket.

PM sent.

this is me lengthening my message to at least 10 characters.

Captain Mal?! :horror

Why are you dressed like a "slacker" from the 1980s? And, what are you doing with Michael J. Fox's head?

SHINY! :)

PM replied to you Mr. Fusion! Thanks for the help!

Here's a look at the Part 3 version. Marty McEastwood. I haven't molded this yet, but it will be ready in the next couple of weeks. A couple of little tweaks needed first.

Doc Brown also progresses, but he's still not ready to show yet. :) Wish me luck!
