Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class

Hope your right Mike, i think Beast could use the same production process as the inevitable chewbacca, so that could be a contender.

If we do get a Beast, I see it getting the same process that the Hot toys Planet of the apes got.

With regards, to January Jones' performance at the time of watching First Class, I did not think it was her acting that made it so wooden but the lack of story to her characters' part. She is so powerful but is played down, so just presumed she was asked to pay the part as those bad guys side kicks, such as riptide, where no acting really necessary. Since then seeing her act in other films, I can now confirm that she just acts with no emotion it seems. She was a late replacement though, so I wonder how it could have turned out if Alice Eve would have stayed on.

With Regards to Famke and James, being either too Old or young, just didn't see it, and totally believed in to it, but hey that just my opinion.

They could of done a way better job on Magneto suit at the end. Why didn't they make it the same way as Odin from Thor movie?

Surprised we havn't seen anything yet. Thought we'd see something in time for the bluray release. Well that's ok anyways, my collectible plate is really full anyway.

They're too busy with "new" Ironman figures.

Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class

Im starting to wonder if this line was cancelled.

I wonder this as well. Would have thought we would have seen information on a figure from this line by now.

It has been awhile. I think they took awhile with the Avatar license too though. Hoping we see something soon. Too much potential with this line.

Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class

Didn't they hire her because it made the Jean-Logan connection make more sense than the Jean-Scott connection, thus adding to the tension. I know I read that in Wizard or something at the time.
All the hate on Famke. :pfft:

I just found it refreshing that a woman closer to middle age than not landed a major role with my favourite comic book character. In terms of who Jean Grey is supposed to be, late thirties or even forty makes perfect sense with the character.

Maybe James Marsden (talk about hot thought) was too young, not Famke being 'too old'. :)

Oddly enough, her 'hotness' is not a selling point. I thought the character was done reasonably well in the film, although Moria MacTaggert was a lot prettier. I suppose I might buy her if HT released several other characters first, especially Mystique, and they put her in one of her less revealing outfits.

Anyway, I think we can all agree HT needs to show us something.... :impatient:

But Logan is too old for everyone. :wink1: That is why he can be safely paired with teenage girls time and again with no hint of him trying to take advantage of them: Kitty, Jubilee and, in the films, Rogue.

Anyway I doubt this line is cancelled. Why would they? This film was a box office success, well received by the fans, and based on a proven licence.

I have to admit the thought of that stupid New Goblin figure getting made and not two or three X-Men makes me shudder.

Nah, I don't believe it's cancelled either. Remember the long wait for the Inglourious Basterds figures after announcement? And even worse, Avatar?

I'm hoping we'll see something soon! I'd definitely be interested in a Magneto figure! :rock

Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class

Yeah of course these will still get made, there's a few licences there announced where were still not seen anything of yet.

Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class

If they followed through with Sucker Punch they will certainly do these figures!
