I just like to add these were taken on a pretty average camera and it still looks pretty damn awesome but nothing compared to having him in front of you :)

Looking good, Matt. Some advice here:

You need to bust out a comb or pic and fuzz out the hair. Just like after Arnold first puts on the Gargoyles. Try teasing the hair on top forward in the front and up in the middle. Also keep in mind that even though he's got a mullet, he still had a faint parting on his right hand side in his hair:

Hope that makes sense.

The Gargoyles look a bit funny on him. You should probably adjust those. Maybe try bending the end of the arms of the glasses up so they can fit better (that's what I did with mine).

Also, you should look into getting the 25th anniversary jacket. It's almost near accurate to original jacket (except for the missing upper design on the back and some other small details like snaps on the collar).

Thanks for the advice Joe.
il have a go at adjusting the hair tonight.
Regarding the gargoyles, they were modified for my howard bust and i had to snip the ends off.... They were just for show and are to be sold when my other bust moves on so i will be getting some new Gargoyles.
Also the jacket is to be moved on to so in will look into getting the 25th anniversary aswell.
Like I say, i literally just threw that togeather just to get a feel of how it will look but obviously not near to the final look.
Im sure on the mannequin once padded out, it will make a huge difference as mine looks as tho he needs some protein and to hit the gym :)

Also iv probably mentioned this but i wanted to take a few close up shots just to try and capture the detail joes managed to get with the skin and the paint application. Like i say, traces of sweat, small spots, blemishes, freckles.... you can even see stubble shadow :)
Truely brilliant

Right i tried to style the hair a little better... I really dont know how Joe managed to cut this to shape, its pretty tricky to style lol
Anyway here's a few pics

I used a tiny bit of hair product (clay) just to style it. It probably doesnt look much different in the pics but it does look better when in front of you.
Also, im really not doing this piece the justice it deserves right now but hopefully not to long, i should have the jacket and im going to start looking for guns :)
Oh, had a funny moment earlier, I was playing around with the hair and i went downstairs for a while completely forgetting i left it out. When i returned and opened the door with him staring at me, it even made me jump a little lol
This thing is so bloody real :)

it surely does. now it looks like a terminator who doesn't care about his burned haircut and not like he spent an hour with a mirror. much better, and fits the screen hair very well.

The hair needs to be puffier on top. Here's a pic of him from that scene in the movie:

Here's a pic of one of the haircuts I made (not 100%, but the closest I can do with a wig):

Also, try taking pics at least 5-6 feet away. :)

Yep I tweaked it again after watching a few scenes from the film. Il take a better pic soon :)
I will probably start my own progress thread on this soon as I dont want to hijack Joe's thread lol.
Will hopefully get this thing up and running real soon :)

What style of Gargoyles are those? What is the lens color called? Iv'e been contemplating getting some but don't know which ones are accurate.

God damn this bust is so amazing!
I would love to own this - ESPECIALLY the life size statue.
Congrats to all who have it.

It really is a work of art and I still cant stop staring at it lol.
Cant wait to get this full size with those iconic cargo trousers :)
As a terminator fan, you should try and get this. Iv had to really scrape by this month, even lie at some point lol... but it was worth it :wink1:

Been awhile since I posted on this thread, but here's my new T1 V2 bust on my statue:

Actually have a nice AR-18 and SPAS-12 airsofts with the statue, but it was hard to get them in the picture with my camera. I'm pretty much done with the statue.

Next up is the T2 T-800. Not much work involved but I need to slim down the neck, add some more wrinkles here and there, lip & brow tweaks, and re-insert the left eye back in (which I've already done). Here's a quick teaser:

First up will be the sunglasses version, then afterwards, check for the stage 4 and stage 5 versions. :)

Also, a T-1000 coming soon too.

What an outstanding T1 Arnie.
Cant wait to see the other Terminators and will be refreshing to see a non battle damage T2 version.
Great work Joe
