Predators - 1/6th scale Classic Predator Collectible Figure

I still need Scar to complete my AVP collection of the Big Four, but whether I get him or not, I'll still have a few of the original AVP Preds under my belt. Still doesn't change my opinion that an updated line would be AMAZING! Sure the value would decrease if I decided to sell mine, but I got some good deals on them in the first place -- and I'd probably think of the money I couldn't make back as a fee to get the newer, pumped-up versions. Just my two cents. Remakes wouldn't bother me; the AVP designs are some of my favorites so I'll grab them without hesitation and this time... I won't miss a single one.

I don't buy these for the value, I buy them because they are cool and from a bad ass movie that I love. If the original HT P1 has dropped in value who cares, I don't collect for the value. If it costs $200 when I buy it I buy it because I want it, even if the "value" drops, I could care less. It sits proudly in my detolf with the others, as will the "Predators" version.

I'm not a fan of scalpers but I do think their good for the market. Fi some pieces didnt have that high value things would be alot different. Regardless, the Classic Predator is a must have for me.

I'm just going for the Big Four (Scar, Celtic, Chopper, and Elder). Plus the Ancients cost way more money than I'd like to pay for a 1/6 figure, no matter how cool they are.

It was originally going to be the Big Three, but I couldn't just pass up the Elder. Made a WTB thread and impulsively stated he'd be okay too, so I got an offer and now he's hanging with his unblooded clanmates. Glad he's there, though.

Already saw your Elder Pred review. I'm actually a subscriber to your channel which is how I found out about this site. Also, can't wait for your Chopper review.

i bet in a few years the p1 will regain its value. Now is a bad time to sell it. I was considering selling it because i have the maquette but not after these recent sale prices, i think ill keep it.

I'm sure its price will rise again after Classic sells out, but not by much and especially nowhere near $600.

So, maybe the time where P1 will be cheapest might be around November? Right now a lot of people seem to be selling them, and others are taking the opportunity to buy those being sold. Maybe in November there will be less interest and it's still a bit before Classic is released, so maybe they'll reach a minimum. Gotta keep a close eye. Don't want to sound like an opportunist, but... oh well. I probably won't buy P1 anyway, but Classic is already for sure.

So far, the cheapest brand new P1 auction I saw sold for $220 shipped! I was so tempted to bid on it even though I personally don't think it looks that great.

If I can find the original P1 at a decent price, I may bite even though I'm getting the Classic too. The P1 is one of the figures I really wanted to get but couldn't for various reasons when it was first released and I have been kicking myself ever since for passing him up. I still think the original P1 is a sweet figure but then again, I still think the V1 Joker is a cool figure too in it's own right so

O_O Wow, that's the lowest I've seen it all year! Even the buy now price isn't bad! But, back to the topic, the Classic is going to be the first HT figure I have, (other than big chap) so is there anything I should watch out for, or be careful with for this sculpt particularly?

Just saw Predators again last night and it made me want to get the berserker pred. but knowing me, that'll just lead to getting the falconer and the tracker also.

Truth is, i really like and i really want all this hot toys crap. They're just beautiful!

But i just buy what i really 'need'. If passing on some Predators can afford me to buy an iron monger and a jack sparrow or a vacation, then temptations become easier to get through.

But if i win the lottery, we'll have a whole new discussion.

i'm really glad HT made this classic pred non movie accurate.

upon seeing the movie last night, classic does look a bit too wide and 'healthy', specially standing next to royce or berserker.

i didn't notice that in the theatre. such good eyes i have.

P1 and P2 are to of my top Preds form HT I have Berserker Falconer and Tracker... P1 and P2 just have a stand alone quality... Where as Berserker, Falconer and Tracker need to be displayed together to look really good... Ive noticed when ever I try to split the trio up they just look plain and yawn... Together though they are a trio not to ____ with...
