At the risk of this post being deleted...

Been lurking / reading all morning but didn't comment as I was swamped with work, but I see that about four pages have been deleted. Was going to comment as I am the "token" Asian on the Joe forum here :wink1:, but since this was squashed, I won't bring it back up. All I'll say is that I sort of rolled my eyes at the user name, but wasn't offended. Read his explanation of the username, and took it at face value. No harm done. But I will say that as militant as Nam can be in his arguments, he was on point.

Yeah, Zartan rocks, and his compound bow should be able to be pulled back. You could pull back on Storm Shadow's bow, so I don't see why you couldn't do the same with Zartan's.

I think having Rolf in your avatar is offensive. Nice to see Khev didn't delete my original post. :D It will now be deleted for sure.

Also at risk of deletion, just want to say I wasn't disputing the fact that someone might take offense nor that he should be allowed to use the name. Just simply user to user confrontation isn't the way to resolve the issue because what we take offense to is all relative and should be reported to the mods to decide and thats all I have to say in the matter. Moving on.

Post reported. You're on notice.

This post is not as interesting as the following post. But I finally see where you're coming from. This coming from a guy who previously called you a racist (jokingly) and who you followed up with a PM using your real name. Whew, but who remembers crap like that? :lol

Zartan rocks, btw, just a matter of whether I drop collecting by the time it releases.

Tapped out Mr. McDuck? I know I am getting priced out of the market.

I just see it as a never end increase in price...and when do I declare myself tapped out?

So much of my collecting mentality is "what will come out in the future" and how it fits in with my existing collection.

If I know by the time Destro comes out that figures will be $200 and I feel that my collection will be incomplete without Destro...maybe I should halt my collection now and just call it a day. That doesn't mean I'll pack up my collection and throw it in the garbage or even sell it, but just going forward when do I say enough is enough?

Maybe this is a bad way to collect, but I used to get excited about collecting when I knew I could afford a figure every month and my collection was ever changing. At current prices I can't even afford 1 every 3 months. And I just don't find enough passion in the hobby to last 1 figure over 3 months time. And when I finally get that figure I just think to myself, "I paid what for that?"

Even if you stick with just JOE?

Yeah, I already cut out everything else. The newest 2 SW figures I have are Yoda and Rex and before that the Emperor. So I've already passed on maybe 10 of the past 12 SW figures?

Just can't do it no more, even when I get the little birdy deals from Hastings.
