The other day I saw a hot toys Batman on ebay for US $700. For one figure!

An OC Bats went yesterday for $355 shipped from an Australian seller, and I suspect they'll drop even further once the new BB figure is released. But there'll always be folks thinking they can ask $700+ for this figure and I presume there will always be suckers prepared to pay it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the Scarface accessories but for two points: a single left hand is a bit limiting, and the watch should have been a separate accessory. Red socks, not technically an accessory but part of the costume, should really have been included. It's this sort of attention to detail that I expect of a high-end figure. I'm surprised too that they got the colour of the belt wrong and a pair of sunnies wouldn't have gone astray.

None of this detracts from my enjoyment of this figure, but HT at their most miserly would've offered a bit more kit for the money I think.

Yeh, but it's the throne that makes the socks necessary in the first place, 'cause it's when he's seated that the pants ride up. That's accepting that he ever sat in that chair in that suit anyhow, but, you know...

How come ebay is your only way of getting these figures? I see by your post count you've only just signed up to the forum (welcome by the way!) - but have you been collecting 1/6 for a while or are you pretty new to the hobby? There are some Australian sellers who are very reasonable - especially since the dollar went past parity with the US dollar - but I still find it cheaper to source figures from a couple of US sellers, as well as a couple of SE Asian sellers. Buying these things from ebay is not something I do because ebay sellers mostly charge up-front for POs and they often don't offer a friendly returns policy. Besides that I often PO a figure well in advance of the 45 days or whatever it is that ebay offers protection from scam sellers.

I have to say, I was equally impressed with the figure and disappointed with the amount of accessories when I opened the box.
Don't get me wrong I think it's an amazing release. The lack of socks is a big mistake, as is the lack of some more hands at least. An extra machine gun or something would have made this very good release, stellar!

I was combing though the movie last night trying to find a view of te socks to know if he even wore socks at all. I mean it was hot ass Miami. And people definitely wear shoes without socks. What scene shows them?

I don't know if this has already been mentioned but as I watched the scene with Sosa I noticed we are also missing Tonys bracelet on his right hand. Another thing EB has over this release. But definitely not a deal breaker in the slightest. I will just pick up that piece when their figure gets parted out.

I have to agree with you guys. I wouldve liked some red socks, a fisted left hand and seperate watch, a different right hand(not sure what but two of the right hands included are basically identical!!!)
A Black/brown belt and something extra like a bag of coke or something...Oh and some sunglasses.
Wouldve been perfect then. Im still VERY impressed with this figure and can make most of those things my self anyway if I want.

Yes I am new to the forum but have been searching through it for weeks now. I'm not a major 1/6 collector as I have always been short for cash (until now seeing as I had enough for Scarface) but I have 3 Sideshow figures and 2 horrible DC Direct figures. Im hoping this badboy pacino will change my mind on 1/6 figures.

Outside of 1/6 I have mostly statues that have all come from eBay since every store where I live that sells figures or collectibles over-price them more than the online distributers. Don't get me wrong though, i've found some amazing deals on ebay, unfortanetly, none of them are for Hot Toys....

Thanks. I have a spare black belt I can use for it. Don't know why they gave him a white one.

Becasue he weres a white belt in the scene when he goes to bolivia, with the white suit and red shirt and WHITE BELT he only wears the black belt in the scene were he gets busted for the money laudering

Thanks bro. Its no big deal really, but I think it kind of is when hes sitting in his chair. He looks a bit weird without them for some reason. Looks like a more high end figure with the socks IMO.

Just the bracelet! The enterbay has some nice things about it but I much prefer this Blitzway one to be honest.

Dude I just went back and checked. The Sosa scene has a BLACK belt. Not white.
