I wasn't going to chime in until I was able to view pics but I'm tired of waiting. I was going to get the Dewback and Santrooper but
if its made of Polystone and after weighing the price then I'm going to pass .

It will be too heavy fro my shelves and after thinking about the price I just can't swing it. At least I'll still be able to gett he SDCC
Clone , Cantina Band member and Bly.

Wow. Same price as the PF Stormie. This looks polystone, the price reflects it and looking at Jabba and how good that got that too look, I'm scratching my head. I'm out for this piece. Congrats to all those who like it and enjoy it enough to pay those prices but I'm going to hunt down an old Hasbro one and call it a day.

The price kills it. I'll definitely be looking on the secondary market. Statue-like or not, I'm getting one. The amount of detail is crazy. And the sandy is loaded for bear.

I'm probably going to end up getting two of the Sandies and the Dewback. That will put me with a squad of 8 Sandtroopers. It will make for an awesome display.

as a statue collector I am quite interested in this. the price is high, but you should be able to get him for less $$ from an AD. Is there an exclusive version?

I swear sideshow must use Hasbro figures as reference. This reminds of the Hasbro SE POTF 3 inch figure with the raised foot..Am I crazy?

I'm actually glad this has no articulation. I like the pose already, and I don't have to look at horrible, big articulation lines. I love it.

I don't mind the lack of articulation on the Dewback. I wouldn't be posing him often anyway. Plus, I wouldn't like seeing the joint seams if there were movable parts on this type of figure.

I dunno... Considering the level of detail put into that dewback (and size!) I can't say that's an unreasonable price for that piece. If it was any more than that though I'd say that was unreasonable.

If it is really Polystone that thing is a bargain at that size! As a statue collector i know what i am talking about. If it is vinyl i guess they never get the production model looking like that prototype.
