There is a market for modern and movie, it will happen and all of the thor premium formats and comiquettes will be proudly displayed in my collection when it does happen

I hear ya I'm eagerly awaiting what the next marvel PF is going to be. That said from the recent preorder Marvel PF's I suggest jumping on the Bucky Cap that should be coming out soon. Some waitlists are converting if your on the ex waitlist, but mine didn't yet and I really want this one so I jumped on the reg preorder list to ensure I'll have one.

True. But I am referring to the fact that, since Feb, all the PF they are going to release is not from Marvel and the character they have picked, Angel is good but 1:5. I would really love to see Galactus PF or Com or even Galactus VS the Thing.

Honestly I love the movie version of Iron Man way more than the comics version. By that logic, I hope Thor and CA (movie ver) are going to blow my mind.
I read something lately about how comic adoptions have to concern the mass (considering comics reader are smaller than those who will go to the cinema) since I have never read those comics, I might feel more comfortable to the movie versions.

Great point and very true considering the population that goes to the movies as opposed to reads comics is probably twice as big. I'll personally always dig classic Thor the most, simply because I grew up on that version. Now that isn't to say I don't love modern Thor or movie Thor cause I do. In the end though as you stated I just hope others will grow a liking to the warrior Thor fans have always loved as a result of being introduced through a larger media source. I'm also happy to note, from the trailers released, the movie and cast seem to have great chemistry and it appears/feels like Chris was made for the part. I'll remain hopefully optimistic that the movie will do Thor justice.

I am going to watch that on 28 of April .... I dont know if it is good ... but to be honest ... I dont have very high expectation on movies ... not to say I dont care things ... but paying $10 for a movie ... how much can I expect ?
I hear ya c11098. Especially comic based movies tend to be all over the place although of late I feel they have been running on all cylinders and hopefully will do the same with Thor. We shall see

I hope I will have a good time. I dont want to be bored like watching the Dark Knight. (Well, as a scholar, I am quite sick of those movies that have been trying to be philosophical, I go to the cinema for excitement, if I want to get something from it, I would go to the library.)

THOR FOR LIFE !!! Movie based statues look way better to me then comic versions, just my two cents.
