although Sideshow's page hasn't changed:

Est. Ship Date: 1st Qtr 2011

People are assuming the likeness issues are holding it up.

Well since the Mark IV comes out in January and the Mark VI might be out in late Summer, I say get the Mark IV and then save for the Mark VI.

For what it's worth, Hot Toys product page says, "Release date: Q1-2, 2011". Cornerstore Comics says late Q1, which for them to receive the figure at that time would require that it be released relatively soon. Who knows. I keep checking Hot Toys facebook page every day expecting to see the final headsculpt and backstage product shots.

personally... I'd rather have the figure earlier and no Tony face... I never use it anyways.

Yeah I'd rather have all the figures cheaper and not come with the second head sculpt, I too never use them. That ain't realistic though as what a lot of people buy HT for is the human heads.

Leo aka Goodshipped is still telling me Feb release date, but with likeness approval issues who really knows?! Fingers crossed...

That is completely possible, that Toys2 was erroring on the side of caution so they wouldn't get a flurry of angry emails.

Cornerstore Comics says late Q1, which for them to receive the figure at that time would require that it be released relatively soon.

CSC gets their alottment from Sideshow, they won't change ____ unless Sideshow does. I wouldn't count on that as being a marker for anything.

That'll be the defining thing, once HT FB's it then you'll see Asian collectors start getting it.

If Goodshipped, one of the first to get everything, says Feb then you are looking at minimum early April for SSC, late April for ADs...which would be Q2...

I would say early April at the latest. SS is usually about a month after the Asian markets.

I think I'm the lucky dude. I was placed on reserve list and I recieve my email confirm. I've been scrapping up some $$ for this release. I might have to sell another HT figure to cover a little bit more.
