I will be starting Uncharted 2 today. I wanted to wait a while before starting because 3 is so far away. But I can't wait. I'm too excited to play it. I even re-started the first one to take up more time.

Yeah I've been working up the courage to start back with pt 1 again, but those ____ing things from The Descent stress me out....

They are creepy! I hate them too. But I do it the easy way. Instead of standing there point my gun, I just run around and hit R1 and shoot that way. They die, they don't get to me, and I don't have to stand there and aim. :D

Now, I put in part 2, and it's kind of broken. Beginning wouldn't load, and I had to hit skip movie, or whatever it says. And then some of the audio wasn't there. I will be exchanging it today.

That sucks, part 2 is really good. I still like Uncharted 1 more.

I don't understand this whole trophy thing. Forgive me as I'm new to it all. When it shows a star, and then a number, what does that all mean? I have a star and the number 3. What will make it go to 4?

And I am doing the same Wookiee, I am playing 1 for the second time to get as many of the artifacts that I missed to up my trophy count.

You are a level 3.....by earning trophies in games, you will accumulate points and increase your level.....i loved looking for artifacts in these games....I always enjoy the mundane type tasks...LOL

Try finding the coffee thermos' in Alan Wake then get back to me, holy crap are those annoying.

More Sully sounds good to me. And expanding on their relationship and shedding some light on their past. It looks like maybe the whole hose/fire sequence might be a flashback you play?

I don't know how I feel about the other characters. I seriously tried punching Elena and blowing her head off a few times during game play. She would always get in my way! I wanted to search for artifacts and such and she'd follow me everywhere and just be there, drove me crazy!

You did what?!!! :horror

How could you! poor Elena... :monkey2

To be honest I thought that the games a.i did a pretty good job of keeping them out of your way during gameplay. You sure its not just coz you want Drake all to yourself?... :lol

Nate may be sexy butttt, that seriously wasn't the reason. I just would turn around and they would be right there! And I would either have to go around, or they would do that two step thing and back up. I am impatient and dislike waiting on them. :D

Sorry for the double post. Uncharted 1 doesn't have it's own thread, that I noticed.

Anyone beat the first 1 one in crushing mode? I just beat it in hard and I got all 61/60 treasures. So I am thinking of trying crushing to get more trophies.

Yeah, I have the platinum for both games. :yess:

There is a huge jump in difficulty from Hard to Crushing In Drakes Fortune, you die in more or less one hit, enemies are very accurate and the a.i seems to be a little bit more sneaky.
Even so it's not too bad as long as you choose you weapons carefully and are able to get headshots quickly. For some strange reason the final fight gave me the most trouble.

If you still need to get trophies like "Steel Fist Expert", "Stealth Attacker" or "Survivor" your better of playing on a lower difficulty to get them as you won't have much of a chance on Crushing. Especially "Survivor" which requires you to get 50 kills without dying.

Think I am allowed to do that on easy?

Absolutely.

"Headshot Expert", "Brutal Expert" and "Steel Fist Expert" can all be got quickly from the opening scene on the boat.

The hardest one to get during normal play is "Stealth Attacker" as hardly any enemies have their back to you for long enough. In fact I only know of one point where you are guaranteed to get a stealth kill which is one guy in the fortress just after you climb in. I ended up just killing him, dying on purpose and killing him again until I got it.

Yeah I beat it on crushing, pretty easy if you know how to play it. You can get every other trophy on easy if you want...that way it's easier.
