Mine's arriving today. Based on those pics I can't deny the quality is definitely underwhelming for $1200.00! My wife still wants to hurt me. I just hope mine shows up in one piece and that seeing it in person changes things a bit. I'm still happy to be getting it though. Thanks for the pics guys.

I ended up returning mine for a refund. If you guys get one maybe try putting it in a very dark room for dramatic effect. I want to see someone take car wax to it like that one guy did with the IM MK3 bust

Awesome pics Rook. Can anyone do a side to side comparison with the Aliens power loader, now that would be something.

Well I got mine. Unboxed it and as excpected was defintiely underwhelmed. I placed it in my office and chose to more or less ignore it during the Halloween weekend. However, I've noticed now that everytime I glance at it that my appreciation for it is growing. It really is a beautiful piece that can only truly be appreciated in person. I realized that I'd given in to a great deal of negative criticism before taking it out of the box. But I agree, it is overpriced. (wife still wants to hurt me). In all fairness it really should've gone for $600 -$800. With the pricetag aside, it's value will increase for me like everything in my collection. I encourage anyone who is considering picking this one up to give it a fair shot.

Does anyone else have what appears to be swirl marks on your windshield? Sort of like the tiny scratches left in the finish of a car after a bad wax job? If so, does it bother you like it's bothering me?

Plastic is always going to have that...its impossible to remove completely. You can try using some carnauba wax, let it sit and dry on it for about 10 min then wipe it off. You'll get it looking alot better than it is...but wont remove it totally.

Mine has it too. I think it's part of the weathering effect, so I'm not going to polish it out.

3M plastic polish will do the trick if you don't like it that way.

Great statue, let down by poor quality of the weathering.

A skilled painter could make it look awesome.

Agreed. The paint app is the only thing that makes me question the price tag. Other than that, it's a beautiful piece.

12 hundred bucks and people are afraid to take pictures of it :lol

NOT a good sign.

You're probably on to something. I've only seen photo sets for the AMP Suit from about a handful of people like less than five or six people on here or statueforum. I've yet to see any pics of it on flickr either. Crazy. I had one ordered at BBTS but canceled when I saw the pics. Decided to put this behind me and get Sideshow's Optimus Prime instead.
