I noticed a member asked SS about doing a non-feathered dromeosaur in the future and they mentioned Utahraptor as a possibility...I def want a dromeosaur maquette at some point..and even a pack piece if they can work it in, but I'm not sure how it will go being completely un-feathered as it's pretty well accepted all dromeosaurs had feathers to a degree...hmmm...

i'm thinking any SDCC Dinosauria piece will prob not be seen until March 2011 I think...unless it's a cheaper ornament...so you should have time to save..

Yeah I know, but the collectibles budget is very tight so I'm having to look much further ahead than I usually do. Plus there are a few other lines I'm still buying from here and there so I need to see what is coming down the road for them too. Historically SDCC is a real bank breaker for me.

I can understand that then, most of the things I collect come and go in popularity so there isn't always somehting out there I want from each...then when there is it's usually WAY out of my means.. heh

Dinos are my biggest thing right now...I did pick up a few pirate items a couple months ago though...and there is some Klown merch out there I want but the cost for what you get isn't terribly worth it usually.

Yeah this line is definitely my most consistent, and this line is priority, but this piece is less important for me.

I can see that..I was initionally skipping the Styrac and Deino..but I decided to go all out on this line and just do my best to get them all...of course this one being Allosaurus really sealed it for me..

These are also a better investment than what I buying before so I get to buy something cool and have piece of mind it won't rot like my latex pieces or fade and get brittle like paper products. ;D

I just got the statue and when i opened it it blew me away, it's an awsome piece, the paint apps look very nice espcially the allos look great. The only problem with it I have is the when you put it on the shelf if just looks weird, the positioning, mabey it's only me but you will see what I'm talking about when you see it for yourself. I think the best look is from standing up (top view) and looking at it down, it also gives you the illusion that the dio is falling on one side, because of the pose. Anyways here are some pics, sorry I tried to do my best, I have a cheap camera.
