Hey Fellas,
Sorry for the delay with the pics. Stayed out later than anticipated this evening. I did receive the Zangief statue as anticipated. My first reaction when I saw the box for this guy was "daayyuum this thing is BIG"(that's what she said). Almost Hot Toys Tumbler big(thats what she said.....again). I took a couple of pics next to Shin Akuma just for size comparisons. So without further delay..............Zangief.

Tissue covering the statue is well placed & protected it perfectly:

Paint is flawless. Very happy about that:

The base is big, wide & somewhat heavy. I estimate it to be 10-15lbs alone.

Finally got him out of the box. Hands and heads are magnetic and stay in place very well.

I honestly like this head and expression more than the closed mouth. It just seems more animated, where the reg is just so serious. Again paint and sculpt is awesome:

My current Street Fighter and bust setup. I plan on getting another one of these cases at Ikea this weekend to put Zangief in. Takes up one shelf alone with weight and size. Glass shelfs are supposed to hold 50lbs.

You might have noticed in some of the pics that there seems to be stuff all over the place in our home. We moved in somewhat reccently and haven't gotten quite situated. This room is going to be our collectibles room, rec room and arcade room. I don't know how many of you out there are KI fans, but I always wanted a perfect arcade translation to play at home and never quite got it. So I went out and got the real thing. If you don't like the games please don't comment negatively about it. We all collect different things for different reasons.

great pics. what kind of ikea display case is that and are the shelves adjustable?

Don't know if its the same name over with you but in the UK its the Klingsbo from Ikea. Takes more weight on each shelf that a detolf and it has more room you can remove the shelves, mine came with 4.

Size comparison to Boba Fett since Zangief is my only Street Fighter PF. Slightly shorter than I expected but he is truly amazing in person.

nic pics..yeah I thought he would be taller too. I know he's bent over and bent at the knees but I wish he was a bit taller. He's supposed to be 7 foot tall, right? If so, seems he should be a bit taller even though he's not standing up straight although it's hard to tell with the angle he is standing.. Still amazing piece though.
