When I have a statue or figure that I really love, it can stay on display for years, rarely replaced by a newer version unless that newer version is really something special. Such is the case with the new Pop Culture Shock Robocop 1/4 scale statue, who now holds the place of honor in my basement once occupied by the Sideshow PF. You can find my review here:

Or with the rest of the reviews at the usual:

Definitely looks a lot nicer than the Sideshow PF... of course it's many years later, so that's to be expected.

This pieces looks very good overall, but still seems a bit too silver (like the HT figure) overall and the paint work on the metal parts looks a bit more like paint than I'd like. It has a bit of an eggshell finish which doesn't jive with the smoothness I'd expect on his armor.

It's not easy getting polystone to look like metal...it's much easier working with something inherently as smooth as plastic. Even better, actual die cast. But I think they've done a solid job here.

For me, the proportions are off on the HS; making it a turn-off completely. Do want to swap my HT for a decent statue at some point - keeping my eye on what Chronicle are doing with the Robocop 2 license.

Great review and a nice looking statue. Still too silver looking though and the mouth doesn't look like Wellers IMO.
