I always wanted a well done 1:6 WW figure. The 13" DC DIRECT "shemale" WW is not a well done WW figure.

The pathetic and sad part is . . . I'll probably end up buying the 13" DC DIRECT WW woman . . . just for the accessories & outfit that will fit another 1:6 female base body either as is or with minimal adjustment. Hopefully, the tiara will be removable.

Headsculpt could be worse, IMO. I wouldn't expect much more than this from DC Direct.

I honestly have a feeling this figure will look much better come release day. If it needs some tweaks I'll just have to do some customizing.

I saw this today at the LCS and had intentions of picking her up at a reduced price but it is quite simply the worst 13" figure DC has done. This is coming from someone that has all of the comic versions. I really wanted to complete a JLA shelf but I couldn't pull the trigger but maybe if I can find one super cheap at some time.

The face/paint apps just kills it. The original face was so much better than the released version. The eyes are so small and beady. She is supposed to be this beautiful Amazon princess/warrior but this figure looks like a sleepy/high transvestite peace protester. The SDCC pics make the face look better than in person.

Even the costume which looked pretty good in the SDCC shots doesn't fit right. She has these clear straps to help hold the top up, most of which were stretched out on the ones my shop had.

Some of the costume issues could be fixed with a little work but the head...

The face is awful. The hair sculpt looks okay and the eagle/WW bustier turned out better than I expected. Her boobs (and Black Canary's and Batgirl's and Supergirl's) are too big (Power Girl on the other hand might be too small) and she (and Power Girl) could use some more muscle in her arms and shoulders as in the AH! versions of WW.

Grouped with the JLA from far off she doesn't look bad, but for the lead female in the DCU, the figure doesn't do her justice.

You have a problem with the Batgirl and Supergirl boob size? Those two use the more natural/smaller sized chest pieces rather than the larger/monsterous one they use for the adults.

IMO it looks good except for the face. The outfit turned out fine, the hair and crown look better than the proto, but the face is lacking.

I think the biggest issue is the paint work on and around the eyes and eyebrows.

It's probably the costume, but the breasts really do seem to have reached the ultimate...well, ultimate. They look absurd in person. The female body sculpt is awful regardless of the character it's used for and the problems go well beyond the giant breasts. The deficiencies of WW's headsculpt is only exceeded by a truly repusive paint application.
I love the idea of these figures but the more time goes on the more I hate the base bodies for the DCD males and females alike. The articulation is terrible as are all the visible cut joints, and while the size is 13" (more like 14" for some) it is certainly not 1/6th scale. And did I mention how poor the articulation is?
I agree with the sentiment that Hot Toys needs to handle this license for DC Direct. The prices are already getting too close to the premium players anyway and I'd rather pay 30% to 50% more for what would be an exponential leap in quality over the current product offering.
Sorry for the off topic part of this but Supergirl and Wonder Woman being so atrociously executed for this line just kills me.

I'm going to pick WW up when the prices drop. I'll do a repaint on her face and see how it turns out. I think better paint apps may do the trick for her (it won't look any worse than it does now).
