Seriously though, I am not a huge baseball fan. I only follow the Phils in the post season. But I know enough to know that Manny even had a ^^^^ covered helmet when he played for the Sox. So what the ^^^^ is up with that? Seriously I always wanted to know why he shat on his helmet. :dunno

I know towards the end of his time in Boston, he developed a habbit of knocking it off his head as he rounded bases so I imagine it's just repeated blows to the ground doing it.

I always hated that when I played ball. I'm so cool and fast that taking seconds off of my run time Im going to knock my helmet off in a dramatic way to make it seem I'm working all the more hard. :lol What a ^^^^!

That's why I'm glad he's out of Boston, Jason Bay is much classier, a much better fielder, and really came through with the bat in the regular season this past year.

Right now in the playoffs though, I'm just feeling really deflated. I can stomach losses in the post season when you play your guts out and you're giving it your best and your best just isn't as good as the other teams, but Boston is not giving it their best right now, sloppy field play, bad coaching, NO hitting, they're at their absolute worst right now, they don't even look like a team that should be in the playoffs, hell Minnesota's giving NY a fight.

When Manny was in Cleveland, he never did that kind of stuff. He would sometimes fall asleep in the outfield, but that was about it. Most of the time he barely said two words. It's like they fed him a cookie and said, "Manny, go hit ball" and he did it and sat down. He barely talked to the press, let alone anyone else. Never got into any trouble. I don't know what happened to him.

I was a huge Indians fan in the 90s and loved Manny. Then he left for Boston and my love for both Manny and the Tribe pretty much ended.

Another stinker from the Sox last night.

This series is reminding me of the ALCS against Cleveland in 2007, when Boston's offense struggled for two straight games and then they needed to win three straight to advance. They were able to do it then, but they were able to shake up the lineup by inserting Ellsbury instead of Coco. They don't have anybody on the bench to give them a spark this year. I'm not sure that just returning to Fenway is going to be enough.

I wish these umps would get on the ball. They're sucking badly on big calls, just like in last night's Twins and Yankees game. They need their eyes checked!

Boston, NY, etc they always get very generous good calls at home because umps are either afraid or are caught up in the moment with the fans.

Tonights COL/PHI game is delayed due to the cold. Tomorrow and Monday are going to be like 20-30 degrees warmer...I was excited for the game, but glad I won't freeze to death.

:banghead:banghead:banghead for me

:rock:rock:rock:rock for you

It will be interesting to see if this means Cliff Lee and Jimenez will pitch game 4 instead of game 5.

How Sweep It Is!!!:chew :chew

Lets keep it rolling thru the NLCS guys!

Let's Go Dodgers!!!!

DODGERS SWEEP!!! Dodgers slapped the haters. Hopefully ESPN shows more that one second of highlights and stpos giving Yankees airtime for just showing up to the game. Did you guys see Jay Z. With those stupid ass nerd glasses he had on. He looked like the guys that got beat up looking like NERDS!!!!

What's up with security or lack there of in Dodger stadium, that whole mess would have been half as long or even less at Fenway, you raise your voice there and it practically gets security coming over to you.

As much as people complain about Philly, their security is the same way. The cops and security would have been there in a heartbeat and they ALL would have been removed from the stadium. I can't believe that any man would throw a woman down stadium steps like that. I also can't believe how her boyfriend just stood there. Yeah he would have took a major thumping but you gotta step up and be ready to take the punishment and hope security comes to pull you out. :lol

Well, based on that video, she seemed to be the man in the relationship so it's not too surprising she threw down and he stood back like a wimp.

I'm no tough guy, but if I was with my girl in that siutation that crap would have set something off in me and I'd have unloaded on them, even at the risk of getting my ass utterly kicked :lol

Yeah it's just the right thing to do. No way the guy would have won. Maybe a couple good blows at best before they all jumped on him. But damn! To just stand there. :duh
