The Spike PF is really nice IMO. Do you plan on continuing with the line, once you get this one?

Prob only want Buffy and if i end up getting her would look for an angel....but since they only made three pf's for this line I would stop at those two, i wouldn't want a spike unless they made others.

They all do look great together, but you're right for going after the Buffy PF first. It's nice because it's really a stand-alone piece if need be.

She wasn't going back a year or a year plus ago, which is why this hobby is so weird IMO. One day it seems like you can't give some of these pieces away and the next, you can't even come close to one. One will surface though. I wouldn't worry. They always do.

I managed to pick up the red pants Buffy fairly cheap over a year ago and was going to leave it at that (unless Faith and Willow were released). But then I had a good chance to get another cheap Angel Reg and Buffy was looking a little alone all by her self.

At the time, all seemed pretty easy to get (the regulars anyway) and while I can still get Spike and Angel easy enough, it does seem that without pay much attention, all Buffy PF's have quietly got into collector hands that are now holding on to them.

Just goes to show, one can never tell when supplies will dry up.

Yea it definitely seems that both the Spike and Angel ex and the black dress Buffys are in collectors hands and staying on the selves, you don't see these for sale or trade much anymore.

Well i got two PM's sent for members willing to sell the redpants version, can someone post pics, i'm not to familiar with the red pants version, is it modeled after a certain outfit she was wearing in a particular ep?? i know the black dress one is based off of the promo pics but this red one.....didn't she wear red leather pants in the fight against faith in season3??

Also thanks again chapter2099 for starting off my WTB thread, it's nice to see people on here who are veterans of the forum treat other newer members with a little class instead of always acting childish and immature twoards them

No problem! I hope it all works it out. It's definitely worth the buy in my opinion.

I think you've "hit it on the head" in terms of the outfit. It looks to be an amalgamation of outfits from Season 3 and Season 4 IMO. Then, the hair throws me a little as well. But it's definitely from that time in the series.

Here's a pic of my Alt version PF. Even so, as best as one tries, she never photo's that well, some of the subtle skin tones always get lost. Other then that, she is exactly the same as the black dress, except red pants are added and the hair is different, its the same face sculpt, etc, etc.

Same here, the price I picked up regular Angel and regular Spike was just way to good to pass up. I definitely want the exclusives of both down the road but the last time I saw an ex Angel dude was trying to sell it for $850.

It was actually $850 OBO.

I just threw the number out there because I didn't know what they went for.

I'm still surprised the PF line was canceled. I know the demand for the original "Black Dress" Buffy was great initially, hence the Alternate version coming to "life." Angel and Spike couldn't have done that bad either.

I'm surprised they don't, at the very least, "test the waters" with another popular character like Faith. They can make the Regular edition size fairly small (ie 300 or so) and the Exclusive size around 150. (A scheme similar to the PZ PFs.) That way I think Sideshow can get a better feel of the desire for the line to continue. I find it hard to believe that isn't there.

The demand was there, period. All four pieces sold-out. They kept the ES low. I was interested in collecting the Vampires/Creatures and hoping for a Darla, Dru and Master to go with Angel/Spike.

Your guess is as good as mine. I can't explain it in the slightest. I don't see how Sideshow could lose with the Buffy PF line. Maybe a license issue? (I'm just pulling ideas "from the air" as to why.)

The Electric Tiki line is great, but I think the Buffy franchise is large enough that it deserves another line (aside from the recently "deceased" 1/6 line.)
