To me, this figure is just as appealing as the fat dancing chick with three rows of flabby tits in Jabba's palace.

I forget her name lol...Yarna?.

If they ever made a PF of this i would buy two in order to guard the entrance to my display room.

Yarna D'al Gargan.

I'm ashamed to admit that I know her name...

But what is she going to force Indy to do in order to get back that Sankara Stone?

Unreal, I'm very happy with my repainted Hasbro... but this will look good with him.

More important is Sideshow working on non-standard body figures. This is a huge development IMO :rock :rock

This thing will be awesome, the quality of paintwork Sideshow does on these sorts of things, this should look great, I'll probably get 2.

This looks very nice! I'm impressed Sideshow's breaking into more unique body designs...there's not much else you can use a Gamorrean body for. I'll likely get one of these as well for my Jabba set up (once I have room for it)

this is another one similar to the Thrawn throne where PERSONALLY I would have preferred the resources went to something else. I am grateful they are doing unique body sculpts, but really wish it went towards something we never received in this scale like Hammerhead or Amamanaman or whatever his name is or a Neimodian or Ugnaught. I just already have a Gamorrean guard from Hasbro.

Something NOBODY has from any company is > something half the collectors already have from Hasbro.

I can't agree with that, unless the Sideshow version doesn't turn out any better than the Hasbro version, which seems unlikely. I'd like to see some new stuff too, but if you limit yourself to just stuff that Hasbro hasn't made you're going to be getting some pretty obscure characters.

And while it may not be what people want, Sideshow is making things that no one has in 12" / 1/6.

Jabba and his critters, Clone Wars figures, Kit Fisto, Aayla, ROTS Obi-Wan, ROTS Anakin....

They may be more mainstream, but they still weren't done until Sideshow.

The proportions on this already look nicer than the Hasbro. Hasbro is quite nice, and for the price you aren't gonna beat it. But he's also on the dumpy side and it looks like Sideshow will make many improvements. I do hope that there's isn't fully sculpted though, as that would be unfortunate IMO.

Hasbro after a lot of added paint:

If I were going to point out one serious flaw with Hasbro, itd be proportions. All the individual elements are pretty well done, but they don't all mix together in the right from. Sideshow's looks much better in that regard. Between better overall proportions and a sure to be better paint job, this should be a great figure.

Hope Sideshow includes the staff like they cross when Luke comes in, something ommitted from all Hasbro Gamorreans.

Couldn't agree more, while a great stand-in... the Hasbro leaves room for improvement. And getting a Vibrostaff (I think that's what its called) as MF is suggesting would be great... and maybe even arms that could cross a bit and hold a 2-handed weapon convincingly.

But it is nice that the Hasbro version comes with the Axe similar to the vintage Kenner.

Speaking ove the vintage Kenner, it amazes me that the vintage Gamorrean Guard is better proportioned than the 1990's version, the legs are too spread on that, the overall shape, it's got the early POTF2 He-Man thing going on.
