Regarding Duncan Jones:

David Bowie was born David Robert Hayward-Jones.
His son (with his 1st wife) was born Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones.

"Bowie" is just a stage name. Jones is the real family name. So Duncan Jones never actually "changed" his name. He's just using his birth name.

Regarding the movie:

Heard a lot of good things about it. But I guessed what the movie was about (from the trailer/plot synopsis) and turns out I was right. Same thing happened when I saw trailers/read a plot synopsis for "The Happening".

I still wanna see it though. I don't mind having twists revealed. Doesn't take away anything for me personally i.e. I still enjoy re-watching "twist" movies. So no biggie.

Just got back from watching this!! ^^^^ing awesome movie!!!! A little predictable to the plot, but a bad ass movie!! My new fav Sc-Fi thriller!!!!

Oh yeah, Sam kicked ass!!

I saw this on Friday and I thought it was great! The movie itself is a little weird, but adds to the great atmosphere and Rockwell gives an awesome performance. As SickBoy said, the plot is predictable, but it is still a really enjoyable movie. Sam Rockwell is really climbing my list of favorite actors, he has a lot of range and it shows in this flick. :rock

I was going to see this on Friday when I had to leave my car at the auto shop for repairs, but the shop didnt have the part I needed in stock. Messed up my plans for the day so I didn't get to see it =(

Where you see it at???? I didn't think it was playing anywhere near here.

Edit: Nevermind, it's at the Laemmle

Finally got the chance to see this!!
Amazing movie!! Really nice ad refreshing to see movies like this!!

One of my favorites of the year!! :rock!!

I finally saw it too, and I loved it. Slow and hauntingly beautiful - things you rarely see in most sci-fi films nowadays.

But I HATED the last line of the film. Seemed so out of place. But really, that was the only flaw in an otherwise fantastic movie.

It finally started playing in my area, and in only one theater too! Very limited showing. I'll be catching this next week, and then Harry Potter the following Friday.

All the opinions of Moon here seem positive. I'm excited!

Looks like a Clint Mansell Score kind of movie!

Another reason to see it. :rock

When is it due to be released in the UK? I am very excited to see this film now!!!
