You'd at least think the difference between the head colour and the body colour isn't too marginal. Might be harder to achieve when the materials are so different to begin with.

I'm not sure to get it right. Arms, shoulder, ... the whole upper body is bendable? That looks awesome!

I decided to pre-order this figure after much contemplation. He's just too cool even with my dislike for the HT rubber muscle body. I think the bendy fingers on the RHOD and the swappable fist nudged the decision a little.

Now I keep asking myself if I should have waited knowing HT's fondness for milking a product line for the NEXT Hellboy figure. It might be just that much cooler than this one. It might even have a swappable cigar smoking head or a Baby Ruth candy bar and a six pack of beer. But HT might surprise us and not make another Hellboy figure. Then I would be SOL wishing I had ordered this one when I had the chance and cursing the high markup the sellers on ebay are wanting and the overseas shipping costs.

Better to err on the side of judgement I guess.

I agree, I will be getting the next one if there is one. I've waited too long for a Hellboy figure of this quality. Plus you can usually tell if Hot Toys is going to release a V2 figure, because they short change us on something. In my humble opinion these Hellboy figures have got all they need, other version will just be more icing on the cake (i.e. Dark Knight figures, all are wonderful in their own right).

I am guessing too there will be a second Hellboy figure with extra cigar smoking head

I guess we'll find out in what way this 'new' rubber muscle body is a development upon the old one when it rolls off the production line. At the very least it gives hope of a Rasputin, should that need be addressed by Hot Toys. Unlikely, but much improved hope. I would've thought Hot Toys would jump at the chance to utilise this new creation, and Rasputin would be perfect.

Any chance of the Villain from HBII? Haven't seen the movie and I don' t know dudes name but he looked pretty cool. Same with the Angel of Death. She looked crazy.. I remember that huge PF of her.

I would say Nuada is a given but the Angel of Death is a little more difficult to predict, not out of HT's realm of possibilities though, they seem to love the challenge.

The only thing I've found is that the Angel of Death is between 9 and 10 feet which would make it about 18" to 20" tall but her wingspan was huge about four or five feet which would be a massive piece....

Thats what I am leaning towards, I wanted both, but my 2nd quarter is becoming to overwhelming, Abe is likely to be among the cuts.

fan F'n tastic!! HB is looking great. I wonder if SS made a mistake when they put up Abe, cause you can preorder him of the bay for I think $30 less than HB. now that's the right price difference. I do hope they end up making at least the whole line of main characters.
