Actually this looks more like him that the overly photoshopped promo ones from Hot Toys.

Also, seeing it in live video does make it look better and more like Rudd. Perfect? Hell no. But it's looking 'less bad' to me.

IMO it doesn't look to bad from this angle, but that straight on view looks awful. The waxiness of the face in a few of those other pics isn't helping. But yes, in all likelihood this one will be staying in the box.

I think the sculpt actually looks pretty good. That extreme closeup of it is not a good representation of what it’s going to look like on the shelf. Never is.

The suit and its flexibility look incredible.

*slight high angle* If I get him my plan was to put him on a lower shelf, so this is how I would be looking at it.

The likeness is starting to look more accurate to me but the extreme smile just isn't working. I'm putting him in an extreme action pose with the crazy smile next to museum pose Endgame Rocket with screaming sculpt and museum pose Endgame Thanos with angry sculpt... Will be the most confusing part of my shelf

It has to be one of the worst they've done. The smile is incredibly off putting. Leave the helmet on and call it a day.

When an old third party sculpt does better teeth than Hot Toys.

Also people having to justify or look for certain angles for the sculpt to "not look as bad" is a clear sign that the sculpt isn't good. 2 years of waiting and $250 and they push that out.

Worst sculpt Hot Toys have turned out in a long time, imo...I'd even take BP over this.

It's actually a great sculpt, except for the mouth. Paul Rudd's teeth are way smaller and the mouth should not be that huge. Everything else is nailed. What a pity. I don't regret not preordering, a $250 figure should be better and not from something about Mary like posted previously...

Yep JC Hong wasted his time painting that one. They'll all be stored in the box in peoples attic.

But I must say this thread is pretty entertaining now. So there's that
