Mine shipped today. Looking forward to it. This will be one of only two Iron Man figures I urchase. The other being the battle damaged version from Endgame.

I'm waiting too...

But if its a split shipment, we may never convert until March.
I don't know if I can wait THAT long. :( I would hope we get our conversion sooner as people cancel their orders since they're being charged now.

Got mine today. I have to admit I was feeling a bit burnt out on IM figures lately with this being my 7th diecast, but after opening this one up and trying a quick pose with all the weapons attached, I am absolutely loving how damn cool he looks. I wasn't totally sure about the red at first, as it did have a weird hue in daylight that seemed a bit off to me, but in my darkened display room it appears as more of that reddish/burgundy like the others.

I did have one issue unfortunately. As if the shoulder armor wasn't already enough of a pain to attach, one of my missile versions is completely missing the peg. And I checked the box thoroughly and it's nowhere in there. In fact there's no sign that anything was glued in at all. Lol

Can anyone confirm that their SS Marvel orders are being issued $25 coupons, even if a coupon was used?

I want to pick up a hall of armor and received a $25 code for my Mark VII. It's got a $15 promo on the single hall right now, but If I could use my $25 and get a $25, I'd do that instead. But if I use my $25 then I can't get a discount on a second item (Wakanda Throne).

I suppose I could get the throne first and see if it issues a code.

Does Sideshow handle defects like this or do they refer you to HT directly?

These things shouldn't happen for the price we pay. What if I buy it from a random store and something's broken/missing?

Yeah Sideshow will replace it, as they did recently with my scratched up Mk 50 helmet. Unfortunately I ordered this figure from Monkeydepot (as I ordered late and they were the only ones left not charging tax) so not sure how they'll handle it.

Happens with everything from $200 toys to $300,000 cars to 100 million dollar aircraft.

This is nothing new, happens all the time with complex mass produce figures. Just make sure you buy from a reputable dealer.

Nice man! Those photos be lookin' crispy! Sorry to hear about the missing peg though.

Mine came with 3 issues and going to send it back completely. 1 broken Laser Hand, a very loose left arm and the left shoulder armor peg hole is already worn out and the piece is so loose.

I did have one issue unfortunately. As if the shoulder armor wasn't already enough of a pain to attach, one of my missile versions is completely missing the peg. And I checked the box thoroughly and it's nowhere in there. In fact there's no sign that anything was glued in at all. Lol

I agree this is something that shouldn't happen on high-end collectibles, but IMO it's akin to some of the magnets that have fallen off due to the weak glue - these things happen on occasion. As it's on the underside of the piece and is invisible when displayed, I'd probably just just fashion a pin of the same diameter & length from something I had on hand in my workshop and super glue it into place (especially if Sideshow required a complete figure swap). Now if they'll just send out the replacement piece without the hassle of an exchange then that's another story...

Sideshow was kind enough to send me a UPS return label - love their customer service. Hopefully my replacement will come without any major issues. Meanwhile I finally received my tracking number for my Exclusive edition :yess:

I hope Sideshow speaks with Hot Toys and puts some pressure on them in regards to quality control. We shouldn't be having these kinds of issues, especially with $400+ figures. I saw Justin's review of Bespin Leia and the name plate is even mounted upside down :slap

Yeah I'm sure I could create a new peg easily with some styrene rods I have, and normally I don't make a big deal over minor damage that I can repair myself (since I'm usually making small mods and improvements to figures anyway), but given the price I paid for this one I figured it was at least worth trying to get a replacement part first.

Big time, you paid for it brand new/it should arrive in perfect condition or it should be made right for you.
Fully appreciate you could fix it yourself but you shouldn?t have too!
Hoping mine arrives fault free, cos I for one wouldn?t have the knowledge to fix it!
