Official NECA Gremlins thread

I haven't seen any of these in store except the Gamer Gremlin at Gamestop, so at least whatever Targets they're making it into they're selling where I am. NECA does a Christmas themed figure every year, so I take it less as a final drop and more as this just being that one Christmas release.

Considering that, where I shop anyway, they're shelf warmers, you had every reason not to pre-order. As these are a regular release, you may find them on clearance for even less than your pre-order price.

I don't shop where you shop. They sold in a week or so at my LCS (for $33 each!) and haven't seen them at any Targets. Ultimate Gizmo was the peg warmer 'round here. If we're trading advice though, I'd recommend getting rid of yours - they don't seem to bring you ANY happiness, man.

NECA make stands for them either clear or black:

Not that it makes much difference, the little sods will still fall over! With that Gamer Gremlin in particular you're probably best off having him sitting on the floor anyway.

The bottom ones won't work as far as I know, I'm not sure where on the Gremlin they'd grip, but, unless you get the legs just right neither do the NECA ones really. It's pot luck as to whether you'll get them standing or not. Even Stripe didn't stay standing for long after I took that pic, the weight of the chainsaw unbalanced him. The NECA stands only have one peg and were more designed with smaller human figures in mind.

One thing to consider would be putting magnets into the peg holes (Might need to enlarge the holes.) on the heels and getting metal bases (You should be able to find metal discs the right size somewhere.), they would stay up then. In fact, that is something I may consider for mine.

Happy to report the stands worked out greatX they are all metal surprisingly, and the waist section fits nicely around the neck area acting like a clamp.

If you pose it first, the snap it into the clamp area , they stay rock solid.

Since the waist section is metal, it can be loosened or tightened with a adjustment from a pliers.

I took some shots to show it and how it works intentionally. But you can barely notice it one regular viewing...

Got the “Gamer Gremlin” opened and finally added the group to my detolf.

I think 2-3 more to complete the display.

Glad you got yours, it's looking rather debatable as to whether he'll make it to this side of the pond. I've had him on PO for months and he was supposed to hit here in May.

Yes! I've received an invoice from Kapow Toys in the UK for the NECA Gamer Gremlin. I thought he was never going to arrive.

Yeah, I saw one on Wednesday. I asked how long they'd had them and the reply was 12 hours. Hopefully I'll have the one I've had on PO soon too.
