1/6 Hot Toys - Knights of Ren [SPECULATION]

I'll be surprised if they make just one of these guys at this point. We saw how many Black Order figures they made for Marvel.

But I'd take just one to make my small ST collection look a little interesting. (and i'm sure I'm not the only one here to be suckered into The Force Awakens figures, and then not able to offload them at all due to prices being rock bottom).

So give us one Hot Toys please.

I got the first order figures because I wanted them. Unloading them is not something I am interested in doing. I will add more to them from the next movie.

Looking at what they'll realistically make from TROS, I think at least one is guaranteed to test the waters.

80%: Emperor, More Sith Trooper Variants, Nathan Drake Poe

60%: More KOR, Leia
50% or under: Chewie, Lando, Force Ghost Luke, Jannah, Zori Bliss (?), Hux
0%: Rose, Other Droids, Regular FO Troopers, FO Leadership Team

I only have five ST figures (TLJ Kylo, TLJ Rey, TLJ Luke, Phasma and TFA Kylo) and don?t think I?ll get new versions of those. What I?d want, but never get, are resistance pilots. Especially bomber crew. They look brilliant. And x-wing Poe.

Definitely want 3 and 6, anything beyond that would be a bonus.

Other than that, 'X-Wing' Poe and 'Dark Side' Rey and the sequel collection is complete.

I reckon Old Lando has a fairly good chance of being made, but would never buy it over an ESB or ROTJ version. The only other Emperor I need is an Episode 3 version.

I wouldn't jump on the Kylo Ren considering there might be a redeemed Ben Solo.

Think the Hasbro CEO or whatever said they've only released or shown 35% of the line with 65% to come post-release.

Yeah I think their weapons are a little random to be honest. Perhaps it?ll be explained.

I remember when I first saw this guy in the TFA artbook, I always thought this would've been cool if this was Yoda's lightsaber. And it made sense since they were artifact scavengers. I, too, would like if they were given some tidbits like that in the movie, but I'm not holding my breathe.

Cool. Didn't realise they had some Jedi weapons.

Just looking at this guys costume design (actually the one I want. The Rogue). It is not a complex design for Hot Toys. No headsculpt, pretty straightforward boots, gauntlets etc.

Gives me a little confidence that they might make at least one of these guys.

Yeah, same with most of the infantry weapons. Feels more classic sci-fi than classic Star Wars who just took relic weapons from bygone wars and added scopes and random household parts to them to look sci-fiction-y.

These guys would have to have some amazing impact on the film for me to shell out the amount of money HT will ask for them. They're interesting generic bad guy designs, but that's about all.

Yeah, they've been teasing these guys since 2015. Flashback at best... so a tattered narrative, slo-mo shots.

Maybe the ST should have started with Kylo's fall and destruction of the Jedi Temple?
