I don't have a favorite, there are way too many great films out there to only pick one. Not even listing them could do them justice.

Yeah pretty much but I'll name a few anyway

The Terminator
Terminator 2
Aliens
Empire Strikes Back (Love the other 2 with ESB standing out)
Raiders and Last Crusade (I do like Temple aswell though)
Die Hard
Predator
Robocop
Gladiator
Lethal Weapon (I like all 4)
Back to the Future I and II
Titanic (yeah yeah yeah STFU)
Star Trek II: TWOK (it stands out but many of the others are great too)
Batman
Batman Begins and TDK
The Avengers (refuse to jump on the hipster 'its crap' bandwagon)

Ok if someone had a gun to my head I might say Terminator 2. *immediately breaks down in tears for all those other great films*

The Return of the King (extended)
The Empire Strikes Back (theatrical)
The Fellowship of the Ring (theatrical)
ALIENS (theatrical)

Extending my list to 10 I would add:

Star Wars (1977 version)
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Spirited Away
Prometheus
King Kong (2005)
The Two Towers (theatrical)

Since my favorites are primarily fantasty/sci-fi I'll mention that my:

Favorite Western: Unforgiven

Favorite Superhero Movie: The Avengers
Favorite Sports Movie: Last five minutes of Rudy

I love that the Hobbit is getting some love. I guess I'm not the only one that went to the theatre to see it a bunch of times? I've already watched the BR twice too! :lol Really though, it's already right up there with LOTR for me.

I agree. Freeman is perfect as bilbo. Definitely my favorite baggins. I am sure I will end up watching it the way I watched fellowship...which didn't leave my player for a year between the theatrical edition and the extended.
