I am a huge fan of Bill Paxton in Near Dark.

Yes! Bill Paxton was a crazy vampire. Near Dark has always been one of my favorite vampire movies. That bar scene was awesome.

Christopher Lee's the man... fan of his style and voice. Gotta love Bela's Dracula too.

Overall: Barnabas Collins (Classic version and I'm sure Depp will rock the role)
Female vampire: Selene (Underworld)
Honorable mentions: Angel/Angelus (only on Buffy), and Oldman's Dracula.

Willem Dafoe as Max Schreck

Vampire Spike
Vampire Buffy
Vampire Willow
Vampire Angel
Vampire Drusilla

Non SSC:
Hammer films Lee as Dracula

Who am I missing?

Great to see this film mentioned at last - one of my favourite also (it was supposed to be a Hammer parody not?, but is has such a nice mood, landscapes, music, Sharon Tate (gorgious!), a Jewish Vampire, a ^^^^ vampire, a cool wolf-killing sidekick, a nutty professor, jokes are not top but they work for me)

Ferdy Mayne made a great entree by landing in the bathtub :)

Great ending too :)
This film is super fun (one time per year in wintertime for me)

And to give a Vampire film which I also like and have not yet seen in this thread: Nosferatu Phantom der Nacht, with Klaus Kinski - very creepy music too.

Now that's a film I have not heard of in a long time. Haha!

Yes!! That was one of my favorite movies too, when I was younger I loved the Count in the film.

I also love Gary Oldman as Dracula.

But, I really gotta go with Chris Sarandon as Jerry Dandrige in Fright Night.

Max Shreck for me .
then Klaus Kinsky , Gary Oldman , Cruise and Williem Dafoe.
i also liked Kiefer Sutherland(Dave) on Lost Boys .

and i enjoyed Danny Trejo and Tom Savini from the first film "From Dusk Till Dawn"

I will go with Oldman seen in the begining of Dracula
