what do other people buy online thats also very addicting other then sideshow collectibles? i come to this forum alot, but looking to see other type of cool expensive collectible items? so what else do you guys purchase online thats hot like this?

Others' might not agree, but I enjoy collecting Blu Rays. They can get expensive if you get carried away.

There is this little start-up in Hong Kong called "Hot Toys" I think....I'll double check and get back to you. They make figures too and they are fantastic quality, they are fairly expensive ranging over $150 each. I really hope they catch on because I think people will enjoy them.
I do most of my fun purchases online...

LOl...totally agree. My LCS owner has never heard of them and only carries DC Direct. I always picked on him because he never discounts the Dark Knight figures that have been sitting on his shelves forever. IMO he'll never sell them for retail. I almost want to bring in some of my Hot Toys figures to try to get him on the wagon.

The sad thing is that they have a couple of HotToys figures here at the LCS and whenever I ask to see the HotToys (insert random figure name here) they give me a blank stare..
however, if I say "Sideshow Iron Man" they know what I mean. Guess they've never LOOKED at who the manufacturer is instead of the distributor.

I'm pretty big into Blu-Rays. Amazon is terrible with all of their sales coupled with my Prime membership.
I also collect quite a few NFL and NHL jerseys. This is pretty damned expensive hobby. I only go authentic, and I don't mean eBay authentic. Some of the recent NHL Edge jerseys I have are more expensive than some PFs.

My LCS is he same way. They carry some Marvel statues but no Sideshow or HT products. Its sad really.
I also collect original art.... this is why I'm broke.

I collect Anime PVC Figures, which can get pricey if your not careful. They're actually the only things I'm collecting at the moment. Money is just too tight for me personally to collect Sideshow Collectibles also. Even if I was able to collect both though, my Anime figures would probably still take priority.
